Has anyone used or viewed the Muzzy language course? We have three children ages 3, 5, and 9 and are thinking of purchasing it. I’m interested to hear any reviews and if anyone has had success with it.
Thanks :D

I have no info for you. I just wanted to say "HI!" because it seems like a long time since I've seen you! :):):)

Thanks for the kind hello. I’ve been lurking much more than posting (I’m trying to fix that!) We’ll see what happens.
I hope all is well with you.

If you want an upper level Spanish course, I highly recommend ABeka. It's a home study course done all on videotape.
My sons completed Spanish 1 and 2 the last two years - they are now ages 10 and 12.
I have heard good things about the Muzzy programs for younger children.
Good luck!

My mom bought it for my kids. They enjoyed watching the videos in English and Spanish. I can't say that they learned a lot, but they do remember some of the key phrases. They are both are taking Spanish in school, so it did generate some interest.
DD now sometimes watches our DVD's in other languages. She has memorized several Disney films, so now she listens in Spanish or French, just for fun.

We have them--Belle has been learning German for over a year now. Her tutor uses them to supplement, and also gives her homework from the workbook. I feel they're best for younger kids. We opted not to get additional Muzzy stuff because we felt Belle was moving beyond what they could provide. Buzz likes watching them, too, but doesn't have the language passion that Belle does. The computer CD has all the languages on it, not just the one you picked, so Belle has been using it to teach herself Italian at the moment, and she'll start Spanish in a couple months because she wants to speak it when we hit Cozumel on the cruise. What can I say? I should mention that I don't speak German, or Italian, or Spanish!
