Interesting musings by Stanley Gold - the article explains who he is, but if you think Eisner is too powerful and will oppose him - read Storming the Magic Kingdom.

Can Disney weather the recession?

If the executives get too greedy we could end up with Disney selling off parts of itself like so many other companies. It would be irreversible. If WDW gets full of holes because resorts or vacant land or even theme parks got sold, Disney would never be able to re-acquire the real estate when times get better.

Does Gold just control Roy's Stock? or does he control Walt's Daughter's stock as well?

And where has that side of the family been. Didn't AV tell us a couple months ago that they were not on the same page with Roy?
