O.K. , you may think I've been sprinkled with Pixie Dust one too many times, but does anyone else have dreams about being at Disney World?? This would be a great thing, except maybe I should say it's a nightmare. At least one night every other week I have the same dream.....We're at DisneyWorld,at one of the parks, sometimes just us,sometimes with other family members,
we have been walking around all day,as if in a daze or something, basically just walking around in circles....Then all of the sudden this EXTREME panic sets in as I realize the Park is about to close in one hour and we haven't done ANYTHING!!!! so I start running around as fast as I can trying to see shows, and get on rides, but for some reason I'm moving so slow I can't make it ,and everthing starts to close!!!
The worst thing about this whole thing is that I can actually feel the panic and disappointment,as if it were really happening!!
Has anyone else ever had a dream like this?????

I dream about Disney World a LOT. I usually have the same dream within a few weeks of departure. I dream we get to Disney World and we go to the parks and we're there all day and then I realize something is missing. I FORGOT ALL MY LUGGAGE!
I have different variations of this dream. Anything from being there naked to forgetting my husband and him getting very mad at me. They get pretty insane.

I do!
But it has been recommended that I no longer discuss it here.

I do!
Like you, many of my dreams turn into nightmares, particularly if we're going on a trip soon. Mainly stuff like we'll get to the park and everything will be in the wrong place, I don't have a map, and I didn't make any plans. When I wake up, I realize it wasn't such a big problem. :)
I've also had dreams where that's where I just happened to be. But a lot of times stuff ends up changing. Like the time I dreamed that I was on Splash Mountain, but it was a really long ride, and you could get off and eat at restaurants and shop and stuff like that.

Thank goodness!!! I can tell DH to call of the therepy sessions now!!:p
Glad to see there's other folks out there who not only think Disney every minute of everyday, but dream it as well.....
Besides, I don't think I'd want to be cured of my Disney obesession! It's way too much fun!!!

I swear I dream EVERY night about going to WDW! Last night, I dreamed I was on my way, and left my luggage on the bus, I was taking the train at the time, in my dream! Anyway, I remember saying in my dream, "so what, I have one outfit on, and all I have to do is wash it everyday!":o NOTHING was going to stop me from taking that trip!;)

I do. Usually during the time when I started planning my next trip. It's almost always a nightmare though. Either I cannot get onto any rides because I'm banned, or the park is closed and I cannot get it.
Talk about anxiety. And I thoguht I was the only one!
no, but I probaly will tonight..lol

I took a nap this afternoon and dreamed I had dressed as a camel (not a cigarette, which is what dh thought!) for MNSSHP! I had to keep explaining my costume and couldn't ride most stuff because I had a hump!

I usually only have WDW dreams when I have a trip coming up soon, and they're usually like you guys mentioned-- forgetting to pack important stuff, getting there and realizing I forgot to make resort reservations, etc.
Isnt it funny that a bunch of obsessive planners all dream about that sort of thing? ;)

OMGoodness!!!! YES@!!! I have the same kind of dream as you!! ALOT!!!! Except in mine we are usually wandering around and I keep saying we need to go to the pool at Yand B or atleast to the park then its time to go home and we never make it there!!
I tell my hubby about this dream all the time!!!!
I have to wonder what it means???? It is nice to know Im not alone!!
It is stressful isnt it?????? I have this dream probably three times a week (but it changes slightly in all of them but the outcome it allways the same)

We are all freaks! I have had them too!
I can tell you, though, that the cure is to move nearby so you DON'T feel like you have to do everything during one trip!
I have had the ones where I only have an hour or so to do everything, the ones where the rides are completely different (maybe this is how the imagineers come up with some of the ideas for attractions), and not being able to walk fast (I have that a lot in a non-Disney theme too. Almost every time, I have forgotten my camera and am just horrified that there will be no photos from the whole trip! I guess they don't sell disposable cameras in my dreams.
I haven't had one of those dreams in the 1.5 years I've lived down there. Oh, and I'm nowhere near an obsessive planner, either.

I have dreams like yours, Brier Rose. I also have a dream where I'm trying to get to a ps (usually Cindy's breakfast) and I can't seem to get there, the crowds keep blocking me off and the time is running out :(

Yes, I dream about WDW from time to time. But, never anything bad. I’m usually looking for something (like an attraction). Most recently, I dreamt I was at DISCon 2 – I walked all over the lobby of the Swan and was looking for a DIS Meet.

Groosch....yes.
I've never had a bad dream about WDW. But I have had many good dreams.
The best dream (one which I wish I could "replay") was that I was walking down main street with Walt.
It seemed so real. He and I were talking about his dreams and visions that laid behind WDW and the studio work.
The weird part was, that while there were lots of people around...no one seemed to recognize him....which I guess was nice, in a way, for the purposes of the dream anyways! :teeth:
It was very inspirational! :)
