:earsgirl: Hello there. My parents, brother and I are going on a Disney Cruise in October. Since I'm in Philly and my parents the rest of the crew are in Connecticut, I've been kind of out of the Disney Cruise planning process. However my Dad did call yesterday and give me some options as to what we can do when we dock for a day of fun in the sun on the beach. However, there were so many options out there, I wasn't sure which one to pick :earseek:. I did find the activities he mentioned at Castaway Key interesting (parasailing, snorkeling and whatnot), but I wasn't sure about the activities in Nassau.

Also, to add more thought into this decision making process, my brother (tho I love him dearly :teeth: ) may not be as open to all of these activities in Nassau and CK as I am. He's 16, and may find it to be boring. So basically I'm looking for advice on all of the activities in Nassau and CK in hopes that we can find something to do that is interesting and fun! Any help is appreciated. Thank you all very much! (Any teens (or at least teens at the time of their cruise) who have any advise or opinions would be helpful!)

im 18 and we were on the disney cruise about a month and a half ago. in Nassau we went over to atlantis, which is a resort hotel with a water park. you have to have a room in the hotel to be able to use the park, so we booked a day room. it was a lot of fun.
your brother will probably want to participate in the teen activities they have planned, but the big thing that day - the smaller dance boat for teens - is only later in the afternoon, so there should be no problem during the morning with him not wanting to be with you guys. i was too old for the teen stuff, but my brother (15) had a great time there, since most of the kids there are 15-16 year olds.
on castaway cay we did snorkeling, biking, and i got a massage (that was great!!! ) while my brother hung out on the teen beach. we didnt really like the snorkeling, since theres not much to see in the water, so we wouldnt do that again. but the biking was fantastic! we really had a great time doing that. there are all sorts of activities goin on on the island, like sports competitions and stuff like that. parasailng and the banana thing would probably be awsome! its beautiful there, and seeing it from above would be nice. but take into acount that your brother might spend a lot of his time with the other teens in the teen stuff (like my brother did :) ).
i posted a trip report on the cruise trip report board, there are three parts, the first one is called "an 18 year old on the wonder's 4th of july voyage (mom? can we go again?) part 1". you can check it out, if you want :)
have a great cruise! :p
