"stock" photos?

Wasn't there a place where you could "borrow" photos? I'm missing some of the signs of the ride we rode....

You could ask here if someone would be willing to let you use a pic. Just let us know the ride. I don't have many sign pictures, but you're definitely free to look through my Flickr pics for something you might need.

I would say browse sites like Flickr and if you find someting just contact the owner and ask if they mind. Also, try a google image search say you wanted a sign for Soarin' try http://www.google.com/images?q=soarin'%20sign This will help you track them down from the many photo sharing and personal sites. The google route might create more work in terms of contacting the owner, but it none the less it is a powerful search tool.

I would also look over on the Scrapbooking board. There are loads of threads where people have "donated" pictures for scrapbookers/whoever to use for their albums. Specifically, I know Mark Barbieri has put most of his trip pictures up for the picking.

Like Anne said, I'd check out the Scrapbook thread she mentioned. It's a great place to find shots and to ask for additional shots.

Wasn't there a Shutterfly account someone had created with Dis pics that was for personal use? It was a few years ago but I know it existed at one time!
