View Full Version : Expedition Everst Challenge in 2011?

I know the Disboards has the most informed people when it comes to Disney and Disney held events. Has anyone seen :surfweb: any definitive dates (or rumors) about the Expedition Everst Challenge for 2011?

I have been wanting to participate in the EEC since it was introduced, but summer schedules have prevented me from doing so. If EEC is being offered in 2011, I'm going to plan a family vacation around the dates and surprise them by registering us for the event. We're always looking for new activities to enjoy on our Disney trips.

Hopefully, while I'm at WDW for the Wine and Dine Half, there will be a booth at the Expo with information on the EEC. If so, I'll make sure to post it.

DreamBeliever-- I'm with you! We'll be planning a family trip around 2011 EEC also. AK is my second favorite park (behind MK, of course!) and I cannot wait to do this!!

Cool! Are you doing the Halloween Family 5K or are you doing the W&D Half???

I'm meeting some friends at WDW and we're participating in the half. I noticed that you're there at the same time, are you doing the W&D Half?

We used to do the Race for the Taste 10K because it gave us a reason to be at WDW during our favorite event, the Food and Wine Festival. Now that this half has been introduced, we couldn't stay away.

Funny story ... I met these friends online 4 years ago, prior to participating in the half at WDW during marathon weekend. Now, the 3 of us meet at WDW and participate in 1 to 2 events each year. It's always a great girls trip.
