HYSTERICAL!!:p It was originally started on USA on July 12. Now, ABC is started to run it on Tuesdays, same time as "American Idol." :rolleyes:

I've loved Tony Shaloub ever since his days as the cab driver on Wings. When I saw he was going to be starring in his own series I was so excited and I haven't been disappointed. DH and I watch it every week.

What is the deal with ABC airing it too? I've seen the ads. Will it be new episodes or the same ones that have already been shown on USA? Anyone know?

It is a really great show. We have caught most of the episodes and they are great. ABC has done something very unusual and is re-running episodes shown on the USA network. As the producer of the show, ABC has that right but this in normally not done for a syndicated show. The fact that ABC is exercising this option is hopefully a good thing for the seriies.

I've cought two episodes and now that I know what time it comes on I'm gonna keep watching it. He is TOO funny! The one I saw last week was particularly funny because he broke his lamp or something and he had to find the EXACT same lamp and when he did he bough three of them :) . He's just so funny!

Great show. I love Shirona (sp?). Remember her from A League of their Own? Everytime I see her, I hear Tom Hanks yelling "There's no crying in baseball!" LOL

USA has a nice website set up for Monk. It has cast bios, character profiles, episode guide and schedule, complete "wrap-ups" of each episode, message boards, even screensaver and wallpaper downloads. USA airs each episode of Monk several times so if you miss the original air date there are other opportunities to catch it. The above website lists all air dates and times.

Here is a story that appeared in today's Houston paper on Monk and the deal between USA and ABC. See http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/story.hts/headline/entertainment/1539345 This the opposite of how shows are normally shown on the networks. I see Monk being added to the ABC lineup next season at some point.
