Hi Jules

We parked in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago when we flew to Jersey. We parked in the multi-story which wasn't the cheapest but the nearest to the terminal.

You can get details of the parking and airport at www.bhx.co.uk

Hope you have a brilliant holiday, you all deserve it! :D

Jules,

Have you tried Holiday Extras?

http://www.holidayextras.co.uk/

I checked and they do 2 weeks parking for £72 at Airparks Services. Not quite sure how far away this is from the airport, but they do run buses.

We flew from Birmingham to Gran Canaria last year and paid parking of about £65 for a fortnight. It was offsite - about 5-10 minute drive from the airport but they have loads of minibuses running too and fro all the time. You just call from baggage collection to let them know you are back and when you get outside there is a minibus ready to pick you up. We found it an excellent service.

Unfortunately can't remember what they were called but I am sure you will be able to get that info from Birmingham Airport.

Can't help with parking, I'm afraid, but if you're shopping in the airport look out for me. I'll be working in either the books/toys store, sunglasses or watches/jewellery.
Hope you have a lovely holiday :D

Caroley - we often nip over to the airport to watch the planes - I will look out for you next time :)

That'd be lovely Tim. I work airside though, so I'd have to come out to you unless you were flying.

That's great Jules :D

I'm assuming you'll be flying from Terminal one, the main terminal. I'll be in one of three shops in the departure lounge. They move us around through the day to break it up a bit. I'm there from 5am till 5pm (or occasionally 4.30). I'll be in either Books & Music/Kidz, Zinq, or Sunglasses studio. If you go into any of those (you'll come to Books & music first) and ask them where Carole is, they'll check the roster. If I'm on my break, ask in Zinq and they'll give me a shout :D

This goes for anyone flying out of Birmingham. I expect you to come and say Hi! :D
