Hi everyone, I hope it is ok to ask this here, since this is not entirely a DVC question, but I have been searching for a book that explains all facets of timeshares, and have not found one available anywhere. I was hoping someone here would know where to find one.

I am interested in learning about the different types of timeshares, all of the "lingo" involved, and who are the best, most reliable places to purchase from. While I am interested in DVC, I am not sure if it would suit our needs, as we would probably do a lot of exchanging.

I am not ready to purchase yet, but I find it necessary to find out every last bit of information that I can. I really do hope it was ok to ask about this here. Thank you for any help you can give.

No books available to my knowlege. Your best resources are Timeshare users group (http://www.tug2.net) at $15 and Timesharing Today (http://Timesharing-Today.com). TST has an online site with a magazine. TUG has BBS, FAQ, ratings, reviews and a lot more. If you join, tell them I sent you.

The sites mentioned above are excellent. I am also a tug member and the information offered is invaluable. It is worth the $15 membership. I would also recommend searching the web via a search engine such as "yahoo". You will find many timeshare sites which will enable you to understand the jargon and value of different timeshares. Good luck! ;)
