I'm busy replacing the hard drive in a laptop for Sue's aunt and uncle. And while I'm at it, I'm applying a couple years worth of anti-virus and windows updates. I think that I've made a hundred trips back and forth between my computer and the laptop.

I don't know what this has to do with DIScon, but, yes Tammy, I got the laptop fixed. Sue's aunt and uncle are driving up from Newark tomorrow to pick it up (and to pay my inflated repair charge). :)

I'm having a nice evening. The girls are swimming with their Aunt and Uncle. George is sitting on the deck watching a pre-season football game!! He had to take the 13 inch TV outside!!!

Nice and quiet in here. But it's almost time for bed, early work shift tomorrow.

What I want to know from the Moulin Rouge expert is this: who was doing the singing? It wasn't them was it?

 Tammy, it was them singing. :teeth: Now, I'm sure that it was enhanced for the movie, but I'm sure that a lot of popular singers today are enhanced before we actually get it on a CD. ;)

Good afternoon everyone. DD Sarah and I watched our brand new Moulin Rouge DVD last night. Sarah has seen the film 3 times now and I enjoyed listening to her sing along with the film. I love the fact that there were so many references to contemporary music, a fact that was lost on my 12yo DD. I am going to have to watch it again and listen to the commentary track on the DVD.

Too bad they don't have DVD players in the BCV studios or we could have a Moulin Rouge DISmeet at DIScon.
