OMG...the poor woman. I hope she was well insured and she is able to re-coop. Hugs to her, and thank goodness she was not hurt, that is most important!

Oh my! This lake you visit does NOT sound like a relaxing type of place. Sounds like the lake from hell.

Glad she's ok.

Oh My Stars........ That is just beyond surreal!

C.Ann,
I swear that if you just sit down and write everything that has gone on up at the lake this summer - somebody in Hollywood would be paying you big bucks for movie rights!

Hope your friend has someplace to stay - so glad she's ok. Did your SIL make it up?

That is one busy lake of disasters there, C.Ann. I think I would go back to your regular home. Sounds like the Poltergeist neighborhood. Glad all were safe.

My goodness C.Ann, this just seems like way more trouble than normal. I'm starting to wonder about that lake! What a string of bad luck.

Take care.

Does anything normal ever happen around you? You sure you don't want me to ask my friend in the VI about those chickens and curses?

C.Ann

browneyes - how can I say this? This IS "normal" for me.. Abnormal would be everything going along swimmingly well.. My entire life has been like this and it really does get tiring at times..

Yes - check on the chickens and curses.. Somethings gotta give here.. LOL

LOL! I'll see what I can do. My old computer programming teacher is a master hypnotist, too. Want me to see if he can hypnotize only good things to happen to you?:teeth: I hope I don't get confused and he makes you cluck like a chicken or something.:o

C. Ann I am going to do some heavy duty praying for you. Now I will rationalize your neighbors plight. Her insurance will pay, her house will be even better.

Ah, BTW what state do you live in?? Just for curiosity sakes, really.;)

C.Ann, I don't know what you did in a past life, but I think you need to apologize to someone. lol ;)

And I think Pam is right, it may be a miniseries, but it's pretty unbelievable all that has happened to you and those around you. It would make for an interesting story.

BTW, I think you are pretty amazing to be going through everything you are going through with humor and a good heart.

I'm so glad your friend is okay. Where was she? Maybe you were her good luck charm and the reason she wasn't in the house at the time. Was she in the house?

How horrible! I'll be praying that everything will work out well for your friend. That must have been terribly frightening, and she'll probably have problems sleeping for a while. :(

C.Ann, I know I wanted to see some posts from you...but......

Seriously, I'm glad your friend is ok. You guys have been getting some pretty nasty weather out your way. We've only been getting spotty rain and T-storms over my way.

Your lake is not exactly relaxing this year...do you go there in the winter?
