Taxi's and other car rental companies

Are there taxis available to take people from the port to the airport? If so - about how much $?

Are there other car rental companies besides Avis that make it convenient to rent a car? All I hear about here is Avis.

We've never taken a taxi from airport to port or vice versa, but I am sure thay have them. However, I would highly recommend Tiffany Towncar or Cartier Towncar. They're private towncars just for your family, much nicer than any taxi cab and a very luxurious way to enjoy your ride to the ship! It costs around 70 bucks each way. I can't imagine a taxi being too much less than that, if any!

There are several other car rental companies that have facilities near the port. Hertz and National come to mind. I believe that Hertz has a shuttle to the port and National does not but works a deal with you/taxi. I think there are others too...check online, they'll tell you where they are!

A taxi would cost too much...if you want a private ride, go with a towncar! We use Happy Limo to the port...I know there are good rental car deals, but we are much too lazy to drive when we are on vacation. It does look like the port is not too hard to find tho'...pretty much a straight shot.
