I'm telling you, Body Shop foot products. They're great! I don't know if they would cure you of your foot issues but they're a lot of fun and smell great. It's especially nice when it's hot outside. Even DH will use the foot soak and use lotion when he sees me getting the stuff out! :rotfl2:

I don't think I'll ever get the hang of flip flops but that's okay. I like my tevas. They have straps all over so that I don't have to worry about them falling off. :rotfl: Actually, you know, I think one reason I have a problem with flip flops is that I tend to walk fast. If I'm walking somewhere then I'm on a mission to get to my destination fast so I don't have time to deal with flippy floppy shoes. :rotfl:

Thanks for the map offer but I think i'm good. We go fairly often although it's been awhile since our last visit because of some craziness around here. Hoping to go back soon.

:) ok so maybe let this be a lesson to those that visit disneyland park, unless you plan on visiting a foot doctor while you're here don't do like shelly and i do and wear flip flops to the park for extend hours at a time!! and that is where the snearker bit comes in, sneakers is really better--but i like to feel the wind between my toes ! i have although seen a lady once wear stiletto's to the park...that was very odd :lmao: But i do suggest to those visting, pack a pair of flip flops in a bag and right before you get on a GRR or splash put your flip flops on! that way after the ride your feet can dry easily and you won't be walking around the park with wet socks and sloshy shoes! :thumbsup2 as we have all probably experienced wet,sloshy shoes and socks is not a great feeling!! :)

and umm shelly the sheet thing happens to me also!! rflol rflol:rotfl2: it's such a bad feeling, and it happens with socks and carpet too!:rotfl2:

A BIG Thank You, Funball, for our maps and daily schedule!!!! It took a little longer to get up here to WA state, but pixie dust arrived in the mail this am. COOL!!!!!! Let the detailed planning begin...

On the shoe front, I am condemned to orthotics in ugly clunky, heavy but supportive motion control New Balance athletic(ha ha-that really fits-NOT) shoes. Had 2 foot surgeries in the last 6 mos and this is what will keep me mobile in the Parks next week. I will be taking my air cast in case and as a last resort using an ECV. Had to do that alst Feb and it was not my favorite way to tour, but better than not going!

aww thanks guys!! i am back! and actually the way it goes i probably won't be missing any day at the parks. as saturday i get my sutures out and i plan on going--its convienant that the place is right near disneyland :) and it was a quick surgery!

Now I don't want to offend anyone, but we do have a new game that we play in the parks.. It started with count the high heels, but now it's count the shape up's.. Those shoes are very popular now and quite a few people wear them to the parks! You get 1 point each time you spot a lady wearing them, but you get 2 points if you see a man wearing them! Two years ago a friend gave me a pair of the original version (I can't remember the name of them, but this was before skechers came out with the shape up's advertising) Honestly, I tried to wear them, but my lower back was in agony after walking around in them so I gave them back. I have tried the shape up flip flops and they are okay, but not my favorite and do not count towards any points in the game ;)

As far as the cheerleading debate, I'm on the side of it being a sport. I was a cheerleader for 3 years in high school so obviously I'm biased. lol. If you look at high school sports, football was only in the fall, basketball was winter, baseball was spring, etc. Well, we did cheerleading all year with practices every day, various games to go to at least twice a week and competitions several times a year and you have to be pretty athletic. Whew, I get tired just thinking about it. I know what you mean though because it's not really a sport, like football or something is since it's not a game being played but it's similar to gymnastics in that sense i guess. So there you have it, lol, my opinion of cheerleading as a sport. :cheer2:

I had a lady run into my son while pushing her stroller. She was in a hurry to get to Nemo.. She cut him off and clipped his shoe and then told my kid to look where he was going! I was soo mad (saw it coming, but could do nothing to make it stop) She took off before I could tell her off, probably a good thing that I didn't get a chance to. I explained to my son that grownups sometimes forget their manners and they are in too much of a hurry to look for little kids at DL.

Don’t laugh pixie it ain’t funny! Its just that my foot and ankles are small and they slip right in sometimes! Okay, so you have given a good reason for not wearing flip flops, but I would like to add 2 reasons why you should wear them to the parks..


Riding soarin barefooted

Taking them off while riding Splash or GRR so they don't get wet. Easy on and off - Sneaker wearers can't do that (well they can't do it easily)

The goats are cool!! So they are located behing BTM, at the big thunder mountain bbq place..but right next to it! and oh u have to check out Maggie Moo the cow, that is if she is still there.. anyhow she is cute! And the goats are super friendly and cute…

That’s another thing peeve I have, the gaots, ok these are animals people.. they have feelings too!! I can’t count how many times I have seen some kid pull and yank on the tail and ears of those poor goats!! And the wooden barrels that the goats sit on are not really bolted together that well, but kids climb on it and the parents let them.. although the cm’s make them get off, the parents still feel its cute to put little missy jr with mr goat for a photo op!

OMG!! A SUV, a Gmc envoy had turned the corner right outside my office on the street.. but it didn’t make it and it FLIPPED onto it’s left side!!!

Soo like I went out and took photos, and at lunch(witch is soon) I will post. The lady drving probally in her mid 40’s crawled out the back of the suv with help from the fireman.. ohhhh man there was a lot of HOT fireman! And soo that was at 10 am ish that this happened, and they just now got the car pulled back over and on the tow truck! Ohh but it was scary . I even heard it hit the ground!

3. He doesnt gossip, if the man is a bigger gossip than you well you are in for trouble.

4. He isnt attached at the hip to his mother!

5. He can stand your family even if they are nuts lol

Just to be clear most men that are mature are good guys, Heck a lot of women are worse lol.

So in honor of this fine Thursday, I just wanted to say that I made it through the week so far so good, only one minor hitch, I put my cell phone in the freezer last night—but alas found it when I needed to call shelly. Witch by the way it doesn’t take much to get shelly to bust up laughing I know I have done it a many a times!! Right shelly?? Ya that’s righ, and oh i did loose my phone again this morning.. so if anyone finds it please let me know..anyhow we have had many good good times on this thread I hope that we continue to, as this is now a what 10 page thread? Well wendy while you been gone .. this is been happening. I have been just rockin it on the boards. Oh I also went horse back riding the other day, the horse took of on me. Girl you should of seen it!! it was horrifying! The dang thing would not stop! But praise the heavens above the store clerk FINALLY came out and unplugged the horse so I would not fall off and it would slow down! mm what else, well that is it! OH its been super cold in the office here and i been cutting diamonds over here...:)
