Do I have to wait to get my deed for an add-on before I can bank the points? If so, how long does it take to get the deed? I bought the add-on through Disney. Thank you in advance.

You can bank points as soon as you are closed. As long as they have your information in the DVC computer, you should be all set. Enjoy!

about the procedure for banking points if we did an add-on. And as Doc described, she said that the procedure for banking is fairly quick and straight forward. It sounded like it is a fairly quick process.
