View Full Version : When to request a themed area at ASMo???

I've looked around, including wdwig and i'm confused as to when to request a specific themed area at the ASMo. I'm looking to request the Fantasia or Toy Story area, but am uncertian when I should do this. Wdwig states that Disney dosen't have any info in their computers until 4 days before the check-in date, so it's impossible to request before then. On the boards here, i've heard people saying they've done it weeks in advance.. Who's wrong and who's right? When can I place a call and request???

And while i'm at it, which number do I call? LOL. :jester:

You can make requests when you make your reservations on the phone. If you fax your requests more than five days before check-in it doesn't do any good. I don't think WDWIG says it's impossible to make requests before four days out. Just that you shouldn't FAX requests before that.

okay.. i guess it'd due to interpetation: "Call FOUR DAYS before you are supposed to be in the room to ask for your preference on room location... room assignment is not done until then. "

And i booked online.. i didn't call anyone.. lol.. so one one to request at.

I'm assuming that your saying i can phone anytime now and reserve?

You can make your requests anytime over the phone. Call 1-407-934-7639. Or wait until 4 days before you get there and fax your requests. Or both.
BTW, Fantasia is the prefered section. So it will cost you $10.00 more per night. Toy Story is just as close to everything.

GoldenOldie, thanks for the info, i've read up on it and i think I understand it now. Since i don't have a FAX machine, i'm going to just go ahead and call them.

EpcotBill, Thanks for the number. I'm gunna give them a call tomorrow to make that request.
