I have debated whether or not to show you guys my recent photo trip report b/c in all honesty, many of your pictures put me in awe and I just don't feel confident enough.

Well, as I am getting towards the end of my report, I thought I would give you a link and see what you all thought - let me have it! :)

What I AM excited about is my new camera - the panasonic FZ35 bridge/mega zoom camera. What I ldecided on this trip is as much as I would love to get DSLR-level pcitures, I just don't have the desire to carry around all that equipment - just having this camera instead of my old tizzy P&S felt like I had boulders in my backpack!

Anyway, as many of you have said in the past - every picture is a learning expierence, and I learned alot on this trip! :thumbsup2

p.s. I also posted essentially the same trip report on the DVC-misc. page, and got tons more feedback over there for some reason than on the main TR page. Alot of people over there gushed over my pics, so I went w. the smaller TR so I could get opinions from the disney photo experts!

thanks again!

I enjoyed your TR! It looks like you had a wonderful time and took some great photos!

You definitely have a flair for photography. Unfortunately, I do see a dSLR in your future. :lmao: (BTDT - don't worry, we'll help you figure out how to carry it! )

Your pictures are fine for the most part. Don't stress about how they compare to others. There are many different ways of presenting photos. I love some work that I see here that I wouldn't even consider making myself; the style isn't mine. My mind is relentlessly representational, and for me to make my shots any different than that wouldn't satisfy me. Just make them the best technically that you can, frame them in an interesting way, and the rest will follow.

This is the last place that anybody should feel intimidated to post any of their pictures..... especially Disney ones. And the fact that you take good pictures should leave you even less worried on how they would be received. :thumbsup2

You did a great job! The night pictures are lovely!

Just curious do you edit your pictures in software or are these straight out of the camera? I'm not editing yet but I love to hear what software people use.

Thought your shots were very nice. Like the night shot of the pool area. We haven't been back to WDW for four years now. DL is our new home and we absolutely love California and its many cities and sites (Monterey, San Fran, San Diego, and especially Yosemite National Park....should be on everyones bucket list!).

What did you think of Disneyland?

AWESOME pictures. All of those were taken with the DMC-FZ35? The reason I ask is because I am about to buy one. :-)

yes, then process w. paint shop pro X2 (just using its auto correct "processing for dummies" feature where it tells you what it thinks the changes should be, then I just hit "accept" and I'm done!)

Thanks again for your pictures. I was flip-flopping back and forth between a DMC-FS7 and a DMC-FZ35. Your pictures made up my mind for me. The DMC-FZ35 is on order from Amazon. :yay:

P.S. I would also like to confirm if all of your photos were with the camera set on "iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode"? Were they all handheld?
