How about a child exchange???? Hee hee hee hee hee
Except, I don't think we could mail them all over the country, could we? I think we would need some sort of child transportation convoy or something.
Just kidding folks, but the way some of us are feeling...

Got the snack thing covered! Nativtxn? Do you allow ice cream with chocolate syrup to be eaten in front of the tv? Don't worry...mine are used to cleaning up the chocolate dribbles and it comes out of most things!:p

My teens would enjoy pizza with their sandwiches and juice. They also would like to stay up all night and sleep all day. That should work out with the little ones. That way Nativetxn will not have take care of them all at one time.
What time should they be at your house? This does begin tomorrow night?

Will there be a bus?
jldriscoll
08-15-2002, 08:59 PM
Since this was Debsters idea, you should head up the transportation committee! How many buses do you thing we will need?
debster812
08-15-2002, 09:04 PM
I gladly take charge of the transportation.
Hey Dream, think we should do AMTRAK? hee hee hee
I think the max should be 1 coach bus, first come, first served, when it's full, we go to Michigan!!!!
Ready, everyone got your field trip sleepover buddy???
bfeller

Nativetxn did say that there would be no charge for this? So all we have to cover are the transportation costs? How much to get rid of our little "angels"?

Jennifer,
You are more than welcome. Glad to help!
Bfeller,
Not sure, depending on how much driving we do on the bus, we will just have to cover fuel costs, we'll let you know.
Hee hee Dream, only kidding with ya!

oh wait before I go...I didn't realize you were making travel plans!! Don't fill that bus up BEFORE you hit Michigan! I need 2 seats.
I'm willing to pay just about anything to send my darlings to such a top notch camp!! Tell you what... you make the arrangements and I'll cover the costs!!!
I'm feeling VERY generous!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Jennifer had a great idea. I think a soak sounds really good right now. The 17 year old just informed me that his girlfriend is coming over. Don't know why the kids can't see each other earlier in the evening. Well, maybe it is because they don't get off work until 9:45. Of course she will have to be gone by midnight but that means I need to stay up also. A good soak and a little television should do the trick.
Y'all have fun tonight.

Good Morning............
Are you sure camp couldn't start today? I'm not sure I'm ready to face a day at the mall with my "little darlings" school shopping.
jldriscoll
08-16-2002, 07:50 AM
  NOT BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING!!!!!
We're going out to get new shoes today. I don't suppose Katholyn would concider starting a "shop with our children" service as well ;)

I'm pretty sure a day at the mall with my kids would have to be a paid position. DD wants to try on everything in Abercrombie SLOWLY and my DS 13 hates shopping and complains the entire time.........DS 6 just hides under all the racks.
I suppose it's a good day for the mall, if we stayed home they'd be stuck inside b/c of the weather complaining that they're bored all day!

I agree! I had quite a day the lats rain because we didn't go anywhere. They drove me crazy!!
Going to twelve oaks?
I'm still trying to decide if I want to battle the briarwood mall or just try famous foot wear or something.
Lars624
08-16-2002, 08:09 AM
Yep we're doing 12 Oaks. Oldest DS has a pediatrician appointment (check up) at noon & our doc is next door to the mall so we're heading over right after. The outlet mall in Howell has a great shoe store. I don't know if you've been to that outlet but I love the Famous Brand shoe store. There is an Old Navy outlet that is really nice & their Children's Place is wonderful! DD loves the Rue 21 store & I spend a lot of time & $ at the Gap Outlet for my boys.

How come I don't know about this place!!! We love Old Navy and the Gap!!!
****must not shop, only buying shoes, must not shop****
If you have a chance and can pm me the name of the place that would be great! Won't be going today, have to keep chanting the shoe chant!!!!
