Beeline detour?

We will be returning from Port Canaveral next Saturday after our cruise. We will be stopping at Universal/IOA first.

What's the best way to get to Universal knowing that traffic is being detoured or backed up near I-4 and the beeline?

Just came back from Orlando on Monday. The accident was on Sunday right outside of my hotel. it was unbelievable. Traffic is only stopped from the beeline getting onto I-4 heading towards Tampa. I-4 was open late Sunday night and you should have no problem. In fact, now that I think of it, I returned to my hotel (Sheraton World resort on I-Drive, right at the Beeline) via I-4 and had no problem getting onto the Beeline, heading towards the airport.
