I booked a solo trip over July 4th weekend! :woohoo: I'm nervous about going over a crazy busy holiday, but I'm just as nervous about leaving my DD2 behind. :lmao: I have read the horror stories of how busy it gets over July 4th, but I'm hoping that only having to navigate myself will make for a bearable 2 days. Staying at POP for the first time too so looking forward to it. :banana:

Any words of advice?

Yes, it's going to be crazy busy.....and HOT! Arrive early and cram in as much as you can. Have fun!

I was there last year on the 4th and it was lots of fun!! I actually flew in (from MA) early on the 4th. Got to ASMusic and was the only person on the bus to MK!!:rotfl::rotfl: I met my bro's family - he told me to get to MK as soon as I could because he thought they might close the park, but I had no trouble. It was hot, but you can always drop inside to get cooled by the AC (or go on Splash Mountain!!!) Fireworks were GREAT!!! Nothing like being at the World for the 4th - wish I could be there this year :mad:, but I'll be there in late August. :banana::banana:
