The trading lots on Ebay look great. Prices are great. The problem is that I buying for DD(6). If I buy her a lot, she'll want to keep them all. :lmao:
Does anyone sell the same pin in lots of 10 or 20 for a reasonable price?
TIA

Before buying any "lots" of pins from ebay, please read this thread:
good/bad eBay experiences (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2213419)
It is very informative and worth the read. Please also note that MOST of the time, lots purchased from eBay sellers are fake/scrapper pins. As a collector/trader, we would like to keep these types of pins from being traded. Good luck!

I was not aware that most pins on ebay were scrappers. That is helpful.
Directing me to a 50 page thead is not.
Is mousepinsonline legit?

Doing a search for Mousepinsonline in that thread comes with a few posts, and some say most of what they got are indeed scrappers, but nothing was ever stated why they thought it.

Actually that thread is extremely helpful, but for your purposes you only need to read the first page. Mousepins has been iffy lately, there have been reports of scrappers being received by some of our traders. Use page page 1 of the super thread and pick a seller from there. I'm sure that will help. :)

in some instances you can ask for dupes - and usually will get counterfeits - BUT - (and I have a 6 YO DD and 6 YO DS) my kids definately locked and loaed on what they wanted @ WDW themselves. DD - Tinker, DS- Mickey. I did not show or give them the trades until we go the WDW and they each had a lanyard (WalMart) that they wore.
I explained the pin trading concept to them and off they went.
In many cases you will get pins that your kids just won't want to keep long term and then you should help them trade them off.
I recommend buting 150-200% more pins than you think you need - TRUST ME.
I brought over 200 to WDW and my kids traded them all across a week and then some (some were re-trades). Now that we are home I let them pick their top 50 for their pin boards and we 'trade' Sat mornings amongst ourselves......with the rest ;-)
