We saw the road signs on the way back from lunch. It said there was a child abduction in Dallas and police are looking for a white 1997 Saturn. They gave the license plate #, but we couldn't read it.

This must have just happened, non of the news stations have are talking about it yet.

This is just getting sick.
I mean how many times has it happened in the past few weeks.
I think the Amber Alert needs to be enforced in every state.
I wish Mass. had it.

Thanks for posting this Dan!

From the article:
"About one hour after the alert went out at 10:03 a.m., 11-month-old Donavyn Andre Smith was recovered in the 7700 block of Forest Hill Drive in far southeast Fort Worth.

A school bus driver saw the alert on an electric highway sign and spotted the suspect's car. The bus driver followed the vehicle and called 911."

Wow!!! This ambert alert stuff really works. The baby was recovered in 1 hour. Just amazing.

I saw this about the other baby that had been abducted on the news last night about this Amber Alert - those signs are awesome!!!!! I too think every state should have them. Look at the two precious lives it has saved in one state in a matter of several days!!!!

Glad they found the baby:)

In England the police are still searching for two 10year old girls, Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman who disappeared 11 days ago. It is so so sad:(

Yesterday was the first time I had seen the Amber Alert System used on our Highway Boards. I think it is an AMAZING idea, and I'm shocked that every state doesn't use it!
