I am sitting here in a sweater feeling pretty darn foolish. It is hot as hades outside. My workplace is freezing. I think the AC has gone haywire. I am not complaining it just feels foolish to be bundled up on a day like today:rolleyes:

Yep! I live in Houston, so it's super-hot and humid outside, but absolutely freezing in my office building. I keep a sweater at my desk and wear it over my cute summer work clothes. What a waste! So, I don't wear skirts that come above the top of the calf because my legs will get too cold at work.
Then, I get shell-shocked when I walk outside after work and immediately bake! For the first few minutes, it feels good to thaw out, but then it's back to bake 'n sweat.

It's been that way all summer here at my work. I have two different sweaters that I rotate around just so I don't wear the same one every day. Every once in a while it gets so bad that I pull out my blanket

I freeze all summer long! :( My mother (the polar bear) likes it freezing, so the AC is super cold. I sleep in flannel jammies and have a thermal blanket on top of my comforter and sheets. I have a sweater and socks on right now too. Too hot to go outside (90+) and too cold to stay inside!

When I worked, one of our co-workers kept the AC on 60!. She would come to work in long sleeves and long pants and complain that she was hot. Then would get mad if one of us would turn the AC up to 68. She would tell us to put more clothes on and we would tell her to stop wearing long sleeves to work everyday. Always kept a sweater at my desk and never wore skirts to work.

Hey gemmie214, I work in North Quincy, so I'm not too far away from ya! My workplace is absolutely freezing as well. I actually went outside yesterday to take a walk and warm up(when it was 100 outside here in Boston). I have a condition called Raynaud's, that cause my hands to go cold and turn blue as soon as there is a slight drop in temperature. They have been driving me crazy!

I am FREEZING, as usual, the front of our office is kept SO cold. I always wear a sweater, and have often considered my big down coat that I save for trips to Chicago!

It’s been hot in my office in the mornings, so I put the fan on. Then it gets cold in the late afternoon. I’ve actually been drinking hot cocoa! Overall the temperature is usually pretty comfortable in here. I’m prepared for almost anything, though. I have a pedestal fan (with a remote control), a sweater, and a heater. But I’d rather be too cold than too hot.

It is like a MEAT LOCKER in my office. Freezing, so I have a shirt style sweatshirt on over my shirt. It's a very nice look
Anyway, I am with you Jana, I just had to run out to my car, and it is painfully hot!
There was a note up at DS's day care that today they were having outside time before 11am, and this afternoon, if the clouds came in they would go out again, but they would have water play, so we had to sign our OK for them to get wet. Ummmmm, yes!!!!!! The teachers have spray/squirt bottles they take out with them as well, and just soak the kids. It's pretty funny.
I'll stay chilly and happy in my office.
