Found Ya! I had posted previously when I saw there was no linked thread, so thanks for making it happen.....:goodvibes
This is our first cruise, and it had to be Disney. I managed to convince DH that I wanted to be on the boat for my 40th....it worked  Can't wait!

I can't get over how much there is to know about a cruise...just picking a room was almost overwhelming. :lmao: Its done, and we even have our cabin assignment already, so I guess I won't be making changes like I do when we go to WDW....unless I find out that its a twin bed cabin, as I can't find anything that states which cabins have which bed option and twins won't work. Guess I need to call DCL and verify.

We will be joining everyone on this cruise. This is our third Disney cruise. Took advantage of KSF promotion. DH, DD-13, DS-10 and myself will be on board.

We're going as well...got 10B with the KSF promo :cool1: I'll be hubby, myself, and our two sons ages 5 & 6.
Looking forward to exchanging information...as I'm overloaded with questions on what we need to...flights, hotel, shuttles to hotel/port etc. Has anyone ever done a cruise out of LA before? Help if you have...
We're going cruising....I'm so EXCITED!

I've cruised out of San Diego but our cruise will leave from San Pedro Port ~ the closest airport is Long Beach *we love flying JetBlue into Long Beach when we visit Disneyland. We could drive to S CA so maybe we will for the cruise.

We changed cruise dates...we're now on the Janaury 23rd sailing. Managed to get an oceanview cat 9D for $80 less than I had paid for the inside cat 10B so we snagged it and cancelled the Februay 6th one.
Have a great time...I'll stop by and let you know how it was once we're back!

One's leaving and we're joining! We don't have young kids though. We will both be 50 on this cruise and DS will be 26.
Our 4th trip to the MR. San Pedro is a really easy port to use. We only live 25 minutes away, so we drive down there a few times a year to watch friends sail away.
This will be our first time on the Wonder though!

Right now we are trying to keep it a secret from the boys but I'm already having a hard time with that. If anyone has any questions about the ports I'd be glad to answer what I can.

We're going!
Our family had our first ever "vacation" in March of this year, for our son James' Make a Wish trip. He wished to go to WDW and we stayed at Give Kids the World for a week. We got a bout of the NoroVirus during our trip though. It was all so magical and we realized the importance of making memories so we decided to try a cruise. My son has many challenges physically and health wise, but we are all super excited, and have no idea what to expect or how to plan. It will be my hubby, me, my father who is James' helper, and our other 5 children. If any one is interested I have our TR from our WDW Wish trip you are welcome to read :)

I have been lurking on this sight for awhile and now that I see there is a thread for this cruise have decided to finally become a member.
Myself (Dawn), DH (Pete) and twin dd's Bethany and Kaitlyn who will be 7 during the cruise would like to join all of you.
We were originally booked on a Dreams cruise for March 27 but changed to get the KSF. This is our first Disney cruise but both my husband and I have sailed RCL. I am feeling a little overwhelmed with planning never been to California before. We just booked our air fare last night so all that is left is transport and hotel the night before.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you!

Nope, we live about 2 1/2 hours north in Central California. If we come down early, it will only be "just because." The obvious "to do" is Disneyland, but there is alot more to do in SoCal. We lived in the LA area for a number of years and still go frequently. If i can give you any ideas or provide input on the area, let me know :)

We are flying in late on the 5th. Would like to be there sooner but Hubby has to work so I was able to get a late flight out. I am too worried about Michigan weather to fly out the day of. We arrive in LA at 10:30 PM. Should we get a hotel near the air port or get a transport to San Pedro and be right there the morning of?

We went Feb 2006 and it was the best weather of all three cruises we have done there! Just beautiful! May be cold leaving LA though.
We are Debbie, Jim, and Tyler and we booked as soon as the dates opened and took one of the secret porthole rooms, but DS is 26 so he doesn't sail free! We have always sailed mid-ship and this is the first time trying this so close to the front. We had smooth sailings on our last 3 trips.

Our friends just switched from a 9A to a 5B, with a room assignment. We have a 5C GTY (not sure exactly what that means). I know it is a verandah room, but not sure what GTY means exactly...I don't think I had a choice of rooms when I booked the cruise. I was actually trying to book a category 9 room, and while I was doing the online hold the rooms were disappearing. I actually took what I could get. I am pleased with the category. I think having the verandah will be nice...
You mentioned that it will be your birthday on the cruise...What day? And what better way is there to spend your birthday

The GTY, as I understand, is a the promise that you will be placed in any cabin of the ships choosing that is at least at category 5B. The upside, you may find yourself in a 4 for the same price. The downside is that you will have no control whatsoever in the location, so if you end up with a forward, thats it..if its next to the elevator/stairs/club etc. that's the breaks. It seems with a 5B you should be pretty well set just about anywhere, though. the risk is in the lowest cats that you could end up somewhere not so pleasant, but then the reward for the risk is paying a really low rate in hopes of getting better. KWIM? If they are booking GTY rooms, it means that a large percentage of the cabins in that cat are booked already, at least thats what I've read. There is an online travel site that you can see which cabins are still available, so you can play a bit and dream.
My 40th b-day is the 10th, so we will be in Mazatlan. I'm looking forward to it! How many women say thay are looking forward to 40? :lmao:

Hi everyone!! :yay:
This is our fourth cruise all on Disney (except DD this will be her 3rd). Hoping to make It our 5th. I have this Dis and Disney cruise addiction. I just can't seem to overcome it. Keeps me up at night reading posts. LOL realy though, I am seriously addicted.
We currently have a deposit down for a 7night in January with the babies from before this great deal came out. Looking into moving it to either the Panama (if they offer kids sail free, then I’ll have to find out how to come up with the money) or a mom and dad only 4night sometime in September.
Cast:
Me (turning 37 Feb 6th) joining our birthday group ;)
DH (42)
Ds (13)
Ds (2 ½)
DD (1 ½)
Also coming:
My mother (60)
My Grandmother (84)
And Ds(13) best friend (12) (had another kid free so he is coming with us)
The MR is not my first choice as we are missing Castaway Cay and the water is way cold. So I am hoping for everyone to help me get excited and plan a great trip. [Off topic, Growing up in San Diego I never knew that ocean water could be warm.]
We are coming from Denver and will likely fly in late Friday to avoid potential air delays. We are skipping DL and trying something near the port and cheap. I am from San Diego but a long time ago. Actually just took a 2 week RV trip to San Diego to visit my Grandma (but she moved to CO a month before unexpectedly). This is where the 4 night without kids (even the babies:confused:) as two weeks in an RV from CO to CA was a bit taxing. :scared1: but we had a great trip still.
Speaking of the babies. They are one year and three weeks apart and we are having a joint b-day party for them on the 4th so off to get it together. (B-days June 16 & July 7)
Can’t wait to get to know everyone better. I have been on the boards and tend to be a lurker. I am trying to step it up a bit. My DH thinks it's odd :rolleyes1I don't meet anyone once we are on the ship so hoping to not do that this time.
See you all soon:thumbsup2:cool1:popcorn::

This will be the first cruise ever for hubby, DS and I. I am sooo excited. Our DS will be 3 yrs old and I will be celebrating my birthday on 2/11 (part of the reason why I booked the cruise). Just found out about being able to decorate your stateroom door with magnetic signs (so cool!) I am totally intrigued by the whole Fish Extender thing. Has anyone done it on a previous cruise? How exactly does it work? I've seen some adorable FEs on ebay for sale. I think my DS will get a kick out of it (OK, maybe me too :yay: ) Has anyone bought the PassPorters Disney Cruise Clues book? I didn't know if it was worth buying.

Hi MamaSue, haven't cruised yet but have planned on it several times but it looks like this one will finally become a reality because of the KSF :goodvibes. We have 4 kids u see ;). Anyways, have bought the Passporter Disney Cruise Clues, I downloaded it and had it printed. I like it, it's about 100 pages with tips from planning to packing. Hello again ~ DD and I just returned from Disneyland *we had a great time*
My kids are ~
DS - Carter *10 now and will be in early Feb. but he'll be closer to 11 *his B-day is 4/20
DD - Lilly *she just turned 7 on 7/3
DD is a social butterfly, can make a friend anywhere, DS not so much - if he's not gonna see you again he's not gonna make an effort to get to know you  I'd love it if he could get to know some kids his age prior to the cruise.

We have a son who will turn 11 on the trip (2-11). He is a little shy at first, but warms up pretty quickly. He is a bit of a "nerd" in that he loves to read, loves math and science, etc, but he also plays football and wrestles a bit. He'd probably love to chat with your son prior to the cruise.

I don't think so. I talked to a CM today and he said he was putting a note in our file that we would like the rooms close together, and he linked us for dining too. I think it may make it so we don't get "pixie dusted" but we don't plan on spending much time in the room anyway. What do you think of deck 7? I think it's good because we're close to the top, and our room is directly across from the elevators and stairs.

I think deck 7 will be a good location. Closes to the pool and top deck and the childrens club to where we could use stairs if need be. The only thing that I am worried about if we are in the very front of the ship and we have always been middle or back.

I think we are in the very back. Is it usual to have a room assignment this far out? I thought I read that you don't get them until 6 weeks before the cruise. I'm happy with the room in that it has the pull down bed, and one of my boys wanted that very bad.
Do your girls really enjoy the cruise? My youngest will be 6 and loves everything Disney, but we do hope that she'll want to play in her "area" sometimes so we can relax a little.

How do you find out if your room has a pull down bed?
This will be our daughters frist cruise but we are hoping for the same. They are usually pretty good about situations like this because they have each other.

We have a 5th grader and a 9th grader who are really good students. I am not worried in the least about them making up the work but worried about how the schools are going to react. They can be a real pain about it. :confused3 I am hoping our dd's Spanish teacher will be happy she is going to Mexico though. :)

Yep ~ but so long as they don't get sick *luckily they're healthy kids* it's the only days they'll miss for this coming school year - I'll have a 5th & 2nd grader.

Ours will be missing four days and have mid winter break Friday and Monday to recover which I am happy about. We took ours out for a week last year for a Disney vacation and I just gave the teacher plenty of notice and she sent some homework along. They will only be in first grade so won't be missing too much.

In Puerta Vallarta we are going to where they filmed "Predator". There is a neat little waterfall there and the kids all play in the water.
In Matzalan we are going to Stone Island for the day. we are going on our own, but we have read that it is super easy to do without a guide, and MUCH less expensive. My youngest really wants to swim with a dolphin, so I'm going to try and find one in Cabo, if the price is right!

I'll see what I can dig up for you. We use to go there in the summer all the time before I moved to Alaska. We would rent a "thing" which is basiclly a jeep w/o any doors, and for 5 bucks they will take you to the waterfall.

My family and I will be on the cruise, this is our first cruise and first Disney cruise. We are huge Disney fans and have had season passes to the CA parks for the last 14 years. We will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, our youngests 7th birthday and my husbands 40th while on the ship. There are 4 of us, Myself and my husband and our 2 daughters age 9 and 6/7. We are also traveling with my mother in law and her husband and my brother in law, his wife and their two kids, son is age 5 and daughter is age 6. We are really looking forward to this. We have set up Meet Up's at DCA and DL many times and look forward to the meets on the ship! Not sure what info you need from us, but we are really looking forward to this vacation!

We have been playing the airfare game and trying to figure out to go ahead and buy or wait. We are also heading to Disney for a week in September so busy working out last minute details on that trip!

The time will no doubt fly by....we are all heading into the "busy" half of the year! For me, life from Labor Day to the end of the year is always a blur. It was worse when I had to do the whole back to school thing with my oldest, but now its still a never ending string of holidays strategically placed just far enough apart to make the months sing by. I figure I'll be just about recovered when its time to start packing. :cool1:
I just noticed on the "what not to bring" page...
Coolers, except those carrying medications, baby food or items related to dietary constraints.
My husband and I like to have a drink sometimes and we were going to pack a cooler (I've read on here that it is ok) with a little bit of alcohol to save money. Does this mean that we cannot do this now?
My hubby (Bob) just surprised me and my daughter (Sarah) with this cruise. This will be our first cruise and we are super excited . My daughter will have just turned 6 the week before we leave!

I ordered the Passporter Disney Cruise 2010 and they listed 5 places to stay near the port. I checked out the websites for all 5 and I think I will go with Doubletree. It's pricey (cause we're gonna need 2 rooms) but I signed up for the email newsletter for special offers. I'm hoping I'll get a good deal before February :surfweb:

Hi everyone -
I'm sailing with my family of 5 on this cruise - very excited! Have any of you checked your itinerary on the Disney site recently? When I go into 'My Cruise Plans' (after signing in with your reservation info), it shows only the port of Cabo on the schedule - the other two are removed and there isn't anything in their places. I can't figure out if it's a computer glitch or if they've changed our itinerary and just haven't posted it yet. I'd love to know if it's just mine that is messed up or if something is going on. I've already booked my flights so we're set no matter what!
Thanks!

It's been a hot topic on the boards lately. From what I understand, when people call DCL they are told everything is fine, and all ports are normal. They may be trying to decide which days they port and where.

Just checking in....we just got back from Vegas and have no other trips planned between now and the cruise so it's time to start concentrating on it! I'm waiting to see the list of excursions before we think about what to do. It's our 3rd Disney cruise, but I'm excited since it's our first time on the Wonder. I'm looking forward to (and I hope they still have them) the chocolate croissants!
For those of you on your first cruise ever, that first lunch buffet (in Parrot Cay if you can) is just the most awesome thing. That's when you realize that you are finally on a cruise! We ate and then the rooms opened up and the first thing I did was call my sister and tell her "OMG...you cannot believe the amount of food we just had".
Of course that first cruise got us addicted and a few cruises later and many of those awesome buffets has put a few pounds on us! Time to start dieting and do it all over again. So worth it! I lose 10lbs before each cruise and gain 7lbs on each one! Unfotunately with this trip to Vegas I didn't lose the 10lbs first and we had two buffets while there and my clothes are fitting rather snug right now!

As far as that being the final list, I don't think so cause you're right, it's not sold out yet. I checked and they just opened up more 11b's. When a couple of days ago, they had none. As far as that being the final list, I don't think so cause you're right, it's not sold out yet. I checked and they just opened up more 11b's. When a couple of days ago, they had none. All cat 11's are GTY. I checked cause one of the rooms we booked is an 11b and I'm hoping for an upgrade :wizard: :upsidedow
Here's hoping you have some pixiedust: sent your way!

Well all - sorry to say goodbye....I was really looking forward to meeting you all but we canceled our cruise this morning. The continuing flare ups in the drug war finally pushed us over the tipping point on it being what we really want to do on our vacation. We were able to score an amazing rate at the Boardwalk for the same week you all will be on the boat, and I will have dinner at Flying Fish for my birthday!:cool1:
I hope you all have smooth sailing and a lovely time.

We canceled yesterday and booked for WDW instead. We have decided to do the Caribbean and Castaway Cay next year. Several factors in our decision, James' health right now, hubby's work, and the violence in Mexico. Have a great trip, so sorry we are out :(

We are still in. The violence in Mexico is not in the port or tourist areas, (with the exception of Acapulco) which has been bad for the last few years. If the port/tourist areas become more dangerous before we sail, we will still go and just stay on the ship.
I feel safer there than in Los Angeles!

Though all of the discussion and people backing out are making me nervous we are still in and looking forward to our upcoming cruise. We were in Cancun last February and many people could not believe that we were traveling to Mexico. We did not feel scared at all and just stayed in popular locations.

Hi all. We have had this booked for a while. And we are still in. I also had a January 15 eastern booked and we debated canceling this one but with the KSF promo we could not pass it up. So, as long as we get time off for both we are in (will know early Dec)! We are still keeping the Eastern for now but will be leaving the 13 year old home. DH thinks I am crazy to just get back from one to go again two weeks later. Yea, we may be changing the easthern untill later.
We have two cabins.
Me, DH, DS (2 ½ ) & DD (1 ½ )
DM (60), DG (84), DS (13), Sons best friend (12)
Is it wrong that we are sticking the grandmas with the teen’s boys? Then again we are getting the babies who wake up early.
The babies are motived to be potty trained so they can use the Mickey pool that we keep seeing on the computer and you tube. This will be 2 year olds 3cruise all on Disney, his last was a year ago so he barley remembers much. The 1 year old will be on her third and knows nothing but that Mickey is really cool and we keep looking at a ship on the computer.
I hope this thread picks up so we can get to know everyone. I would like to do a fish extender to add to the experience for my son’s friend also if anyone is interested. Sooo, who all do we have now for this cruise as a lot of people have dropped?

1. Are we going to do fish extenders?
2. Does Disney send any information with excursions and stuff prior to being able to book? I asked when I made my final payment and they said they should be sending something mid October but I have yet to see anything. I know you can view everything on line but I was hoping for something that we could sit down with as a family and decide.
3. Do all of you have passports? My husband and I have them but the girls don't. We keep tossing it around and I think at this point we are going to skip theirs but I am nervouse about them changing the policy or something. Just looking for reassurance from others I guess.

I would LOVE to try fish extenders. I'm thinking we should decide soon- 100 days isn't really that long!
2. We checked out what we could on the Disney cruise line site- Do you know if there are more 'disney' port excursions than what Disney lists under "port adventures' in each port?
3. We are coming from Canada so can't help you there- we have to have passports!

Hey everybody!
We're complete newbies to the cruise experience, so the family is super excited! Our family consists of, me, DH, DD(15) and DD(13)!
Has anybody else been on Disney's Mexican Riviera cruise before? If so, are there any shore excursions you would recommend? Also, is anybody else concerned about the recent violence thats taking place in Mexico, and the potential safety concerns? (Not that it's stopping us from going)
We were also wondering what a fish extender is? We've been seeing the word a lot on the forums and are curious.
Any tips for first time cruisers?
:thumbsup2
We're all super excited!

We have more people!!!! :cheer2: Hi all and welcome.
Here is the overall understanding I have. Right outside your cabin will be a metal fish. This is where the ship may deliver mail to you; in the fish’s mouth. Way back when someone had the idea to hang pockets from the fish, thus a fish extender(we have brought slip ties to hang). Some of these attachments are very creative and include names, dates……. some can be purchased on line, homemade; I have also seen people just use a bag.
The “fish extender” group is where people have agreed prior to cruising to participate in a kind of secret Santa, dropping these items in the “fish extender” right outside someone’s door. People have given their room number, names, kids ages and sex. Some give all the information some less. It is really your comfort level. If someone is doing a customized gift they can personal message someone for specific personal information rather than sharing it to everyone. For instance one trip someone made luggage tags that were awesome and I have them still on waiting for our next trip. Someone else did customized shirts. Others just some pirate items from Oriental Trading. All is fun, exciting and thoughtful.
Some people get very extensive and pricey. Some do individuals for everyone in the cabin. Others may just put together a “cruise safety pack” with a snack, highlighter (for the activity schedule) band aids, seasickness… I have had door magnets, post cards from home towns, maple syrup from someone in Main. Some do one item for everyone in the cabin, others have focused only on kids (or adults if only adults are cruising and participating).
I have done three; there has never been any frowning on those who do more and those who have done less. Just the excitement is great and should fit your budget with no pressure to be more extensive than comfortable. It adds a nice excitement to the trip. Careful though as It can be time intensive especially with a large group. To combat larger groups people have divided groups up. Also to remember is a little goes long ways so no need to be crafty if you don’t want to be or pack a ton.
Search back through the pages and you will find a lot of information and I hope others will join in with their thoughts.
I would like to do it as we are bringing my sons 12yr friend and I think the experience will add some magic.

Familyfun5 thanks for your reply. You seem to be the only one of us that has experience in this area. Are you assigned a family and you give that family something every day or are you assigned a day and give everyone who is participating something? Sorry I am still not that clear.
Are you willing to organize it? I want to get moving on my stuff.

Distribution is what everyone decides on. Some do specific days others just when they get to it. Some have chosen to do something small every day. The down side is that it can be time consuming and becomes a lot to pack. The great thing about the fish extender is there are no rules. If everyone decides on specific days then that works. If not, no problem. You can have everyone assigned a family but usually not. I did one fish extender where everyone had a list of say 15 cabins. Some chose to just see each as a cabin, some did something for each individual and others just the kids; all on the same sailing. It did not matter what you individually chose to commit to and no one had to agree. The understanding was to have fun. People do what they are comfortable with. Then a select few (not everyone who did the fish extender) chose to up the ante with an actual “secret Santa” and had a limit of $10 for the cabin they were given.
There are a few fish extender threads going in the first three pages. These have pictures and ideas. It has been a while since I have read through them so I am not sure of what ideas people have found the most enjoyable arrangement.
For instance I would vote on who wants to participate, and then we create a list. It would have dis-name, cabin #, and ages in the cabin. Some add names but that would be a comfort level and is not needed. Then each would participate to the extent that they are comfortable. The only caveat is that if you are on the list to receive you are expected to also give. That does not mean if I give something for each person you are obligated to give something for each person in my cabin. Yet, the very least expected would be something for each cabin on the list. We would also have a cutoff for when to stop adding participants. Some like this so they can order items. Keep in mind that a few will add after this deadline so some anticipate this and have room to add say 3-5 more but then note that they can no longer accommodate more especially when there is only two weeks till sail. Others stay with the deadline. All ideas should be considered and we craft our own event. We can have a fish extender with as little as two cabins and I have heard as much as 100 cabins, but that is a huge commitment.
Ideas?

Yes...as soon as the tender boat drops you off at the pier you walk out and I believe to the right and there will be lots of little boats there with everyone asking you if you want a ride. Just tell them to Medano beach. It's a nice stretch of beach. It's easy to get out of the boat here in shallow water. Where all the blue umbrellas are is where you can get some great food, but may be a little noisy for small kids. We eat at the Office everytime we go. We couldn't believe our first cruise to Mexico had no mexican food on the ship! So at the ports, we found some really great stuff!

Welcome!!
Our daughters are very close in age- my oldest daughter turned 10 this fall and my youngest was 6 in September. I am so glad there will be kids their age on this cruise- we were booked for Alaska in May on the Wonder but there were no kids in our cruise meet thread. Okay- there was one, but she was much younger than my girls.
I too am glad to hear there are other girls their age! This is going to be a great vacation! We are all looking forward to this! Our first cruise and of course it had to be Disney!

I was wondering if anyone was organizing this and if so, what do we need to know. We set sail in a short amount of time and I would like to be involved. I have never been on a cruise before and so I have never done a meet. I get the general idea and have already posted that there are 8 in our party, 4 adults and 4 children that want to be included. I just need to know what I need to do and how many of what I need to make or get. Thanks in advance for any help on this!

Our plan is to drop gifts off for each cabin once during the cruise. A few cabins each day for the first few days. My wife is making something for each person in each cabin. I know each cruise and cruiser does things different. I think we should let each member of the group decide if they want to give gifts for each cabin, or each person in the cabin.
Our cabin is myself, DW, and DS-3

I have been searching cc for weeks ever since carnival splendor canceled on us. I forgot all about this wonderfull site you guys rock on here. We went crazy at first because the trip to calif was for a friends likelong dream to see Disneyland the when carnival cancled they got worried we would have to cancel all plans. But the wonderfull lady at Disney Cruise line saved the day fo us ( althought with cost we had to downgrade from balcony to inside which is why we had gone with carnival) but I have told everyone going with us that inside on the Wonder will be just fine. We have sailed on the Wonder before and it's a great ship. We can't wait to go, now that holidays over time to start adding to the suitcases all the little things you don't want to forget!

Thanks so much for putting the list together. We are excited to be on board with the FE (pun intended). I called DCL and was told to arrive at the port at 1 PM and be on board by 4 PM. I wonder when they do the fire drill? My 3 yr old son gets a bit sensory overloaded so we are going to try and find someplace a little quieter to hang out when the do the drill.
I'll be celebrating my birthday on 2/11!
Has anyone signed up for any of the excursions? I was told we don't need to bring car seats for little ones.
Counting the days!

we're coming early, on the Thursday before. We are going to Legoland and San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, and maybe a water park too. We are not doing DW unless we can find some super great ticket prices since there are 9 of us. I'm not sure where we're staying yet.
Hi..we are going on the MR Cruise on Feb. 6th as well. It is our first cruise as a family..DD 13, DS 11, DD 7 and Hubby. We live in So. California. You are going to be very busy going down to Legoland and the Zoo in San Diego. My kids love both. As for a water park...none are open. Even though it is "Sunny So. Cal" it is still winter and not very warm. The highs are averaging around 60 right now. If you have any other questions just ask..I have lived here my entire life and know tons of things to do with kids.

Anyone else have to take their kids out of school for the week? That is the one downfall of this trip. I couldn't get the correct spring break week. The kids don't mind though. ;) :)
Yes I have to take my kids out for the week and feel horrible about it. My kids are in 1st, 5th and 8th grade. My son's teacher (5th grade) just told me that for him to have his absences excused he will have to be on "home studies" for the week and that she has to assign about 4 hours a day of work for each day..which means he will be getting about 20 hours of work to do!!! Times that by 3 kids and I am looking at a very busy Saturday before we leave. Luckily the Monday after we come home is a school holiday so they can also do some work on that day. YUCK!!

How can I make sure we are added? DaniS. We have two rooms #2573 with Me, Sierra (13) and Avery (7). And room #6583 with husband Steve and Tyler (11). I posted well before Jan. 7th but didn't have my room numbers yet. I already bought goodies to pass out and would really love to be included.

We got upgraded! :cool1: I just walked in the door from work and recieved a call from Disney Cruise lines and they upgraded us from deck 2 ocean view to deck 5 navigator veranda. That makes going out to shovel snow a whole lot more enjoyable right now knowing its less than a month away.
#6 Goofy39.3 NEW CABIN--5640 :thumbsup2

Our docs say we leave Cabo at 2:30! I thought 3:30 was too early and now they've change it earlier. I hope it's just a typo.

I saw that too! One of my sons has a Dolphin excursion from 12:30-2:15 on Cabo. I guess we have to hurry back as soon as he is finished.

Thank you soooo much for making the list.:flower3: I was originally going to but my time has become much less than I had planned it to be. :rolleyes:We just got back from the Magic last week. An error in planning our vacations so now they are only three weeks apart. I think I will be kicking myself later in the year for this.
Anyways, thank you again for making the list.:goodvibes It sounds like our group is starting to get excited.
For family our cabins are #1039 for cabin one with the babies, and cabin two #2039

Wow...you are real close by. That's so cool! Maybe I've ran into you before as we are in La Habra all the time. In fact my niece is a waitress/hostess at IHOP there!

At least since it's the Disney excursion they will make sure you are onboard before we leave!

I was just reading up on this. We are already trying to decide if we should do another excursion or just look around and visit the beach. Need to do some research.

From what I understand it was decided today and they will be sending a letter. If you check your reservation now you will see that we are now scheduled for back to back Cabo visits.

I logged back on our reservation and it is now back to back Cabo. We hadn't planned anything for Mazatlan, so it will be nice to hang out. We do have reservations for Palo that night.

I was looking forward to Stone Island and the amazing seafood platter at Molokays. Darn...now I have to see if there is anything to do on our 2nd day in Cabo. My DS and DH said they would just stay on the ship, but it's probably cheaper to get off the boat to drink margaritas!
