I read a post on FB about GPS watches etc and someone mentioned the website runningahead.com to use instead of Garmin Connect (which I use currently, along with Daily Mile). Anyone here use it? Thoughts? I do have trouble with Garmin Connect on occasion, and I do find the info very useful. I use Daily Mile more as a way for my coach in CA to see my workout info and connect with other runners.
Thanks for any advice.
Oh, and runningahead is free like Garmin Connect.

I just started using Garmin Connect to upload into Buckeye Outdoor this past April. Prior to that, I was using SportTracks to upload into Buckeye.

I do! I like Running Ahead's layout better - same with SportTracks.

I use both SportTracks and the Garmin Connect software now. I love the map and satellite overlays in SportTracks but do like the way the graphs look in the Garmin software. I haven't uploaded anything online as of yet though. I will have to check that out.

Really, I have issues with it most all the time unless it is early in the morning or at lunch. I am a TrainingPeaks.com person. I have used it for years. It's a great tool for a coach/athlete relationship as I can download schedules easily with my folks. Then I can easily see what they have been up to...rather than the subjective "weill I think I am doning ok." It also is on the forfront of power analysis for cycling...
I also use SportTracks but have not been as good as I used to be.

Funny you say that Coach Charles, I upload at 6:30am usually, but on days when I run long or later I have far more trouble getting it to work.
I may check out some of the other sites folks mentioned, can't hurt to see whats out there.

Maybe it's the fact I'm using a Mac, but I never have any problems with Garmin Connect. Of course, now that I said that, I'll never be able to upload this week's runs. ;)
I find Garmin Connect really useful for looking at results online, but the Garmin software itself is pretty poor. Trailrunner works pretty well, so I tend to use that when I don't want to go online and look at stuff.

I decided to give runningahead.com a shot-seems ok thus far. Info is pretty much the same as Garmin Connect, just laid out differently. Not like I couldn't use both.
Thanks for the suggestions folks, I appreciate the help.

I've been using RunningAhead for YEARS - since I started running, actually. I also use DailyMile, but RA is definitely my go-to log since it has so much data stored. I love it.
