Amid arguing and looking for lost items..........

DS has left for his big Scout sailing trip to the Florida Keys!!! I, of course think we are the only family that goes thru this but of course after talking to other parents find out we are not. This trip has been in the works for a year, yet DS still couldn't find his big duffle bag! And the heat here in New England didn't help our dispositions any either. It is actually cooler in the Keys right now! As we were leaving he said he can't wait to buy the T-shirt that says "One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila, Floor. Aren't teenagers great?:rolleyes:

What a wonderful adventure for your son! ...is he going to the scout camp down there or just sailing there as a scouting trip...
and yes, you are in good company...don't they all make us work better under pressure:rolleyes:

They fly to Miami then take a bus to to Matecumbe Key(sp?) There is a Seabase there which is their home base for the week. They then go off for 5-6 days on a sail boat as part of the working crew. Then one day at an alligator farm and air boat ride and one day in Key West where he will be searching for that T-Shirt! Oh well, at least he won't be "searching for his lost shaker of salt":D

Wow! That's wonderful, what a great adventure for him. And yes, I think a lot of families go through that pre-trip stress stuff. I would like that tequila saying on a keychain. LOL!! :teeth: Whoops sorry, I mean, Sheesh kids!! :rolleyes: ;) :cool: :)

Just heard that they landed fine in Miami:D Whew!
