Hearing Aids?

Has anyone ever experienced a child losing a hearing aid? My DS6 has had his for 4 months and we cannot find it anywhere. I have retraced steps/trips everything. I am still waiting for some divine intervention. Did your insurance cover the replacement or did you have pay oop? I am so blue because I feel partially responsible for it.:sad1:

we have not lost our (well found after they hours of looking, she told us she put them in the "bank" which turned out to be my older dd's dresser :lmao:)
but our hearing aid warranty would cover lost aid

Do you have a dog? I know a couple people whose dog swallowed theirs. :scared1:
