Unfortunately, other than perhaps the dead of night, no really good time to go thru Florida on I-95 and I-4. We went in May and aside from getting around DC, that whole drive thru Fla. was the worst part of the trip. Seemed like road costruction every step of the way. My nerves were on edge until we actually sighted the MK signs.
We're driving again in Sept. and I'm finding myself not looking forward to it. This time we'll go AROUND Jacksonville, but other than that, I can't think of much else to do except "grin and bear it".

Have you ever driven I95 & I4 to WDW on a holiday weekend? If not, be prepared for lots of traffic. I know it is difficult to know ahead of time how far you will get the first day, but I highly suggest making a hotel reservation for your first night. Or you might have to stop earlier than you hoped to get a room. Or are you driving straight through?
