Re-book on Cruise for less points

I found this on the DCL board - the person cruised on the Aug 2 Western-

"ALSO, for all you DVC'ers out there. They came up with a points chart, which seems to have started on our cruise. If you booked onboard with points, they had lower point values for you. We did not do this, but the desk was very busy."

Anyone else hear about this?

The ships have a desk where you may book your next cruise and receive a shipboard credit. At this time, this is for cash bookings only.

We are hoping they will include the DVC people with a credit in the near future, but at this time they are not doing so. They have not yet come up with a way to book DVC on board as they do not have the information that Member Services would have regarding your points available, etc.

I have not heard anything about discounted cruises on points for DVC members being offered on board ship.
