When a Snake comes shooting out from under a fern next to one of the ponds... Not what I was expecting sure made me jump. I followed the little fella across the yard to see what he was doing. It seems I have more than than frogs living in the garden... I love nature.

That was cool! Around here - more often then not - the snakes are RATTLERS!!! :earseek:

But I love the green racers that shoot across the lawn. They are totally safe and I love how they move.

We also have a night hawk that has claimed our property as her/his property. It is fascinating to watch it hunt large bugs in the early evening.

Snakes are fine, as long as they aren't venemous. They control furry little critters that dig in my beds.

I'm sure you must have jumped. :bounce:

I love wildlife in the yard. When you have lots of rocks walls you can bet you'll have a snake or two.

One of the best features in a yard is some kind of water garden. It will bring an abundance of wildlife. On any given day there must be a hundred Dragonflies. All different colors. I love walking out to the pond and seeing them sitting on the rocks basking in the sun.

Eeech, I hate snakes. Thump (that's me passing out along with Barb)

I did see a teeny tiny too cute bunny yesterday. He was all by himself too. We put him back where we think his hole is. Of course it occured to me after that it could be an eeeyou snake hole. I didn't sleep much worrying about the little guy.
