Actually, it might be a good thing that you and DH stay up there for a while and relax.

I'm glad DH is enjoying a change of scenery. That usually does a person good.

Sorry about the tanks being so loud. I do not understand why though. My FIL uses a tank quite a bit (emphysima) and it is not loud at all. I would question the noise. That does not seem right that it can keep you up at night.

Do you have at least one room that's a bit enclosed? You might want to check out one of those machines that make the nature sounds. I find that a waterfall helps me to drown out almost anything.
