December 7-14, 2001 at the VWL. When and where is anyone else's first DVC stay? I'm looking forward to this vacation very much. Bought into DVC and will not have a chance to use till 12/01'. The wait it gonna kill me! :eek:

Hi our first stay will be June 30 to July 7 at Bwv. I have been counting down the days for 11 months. :) :cool: ;) .I am looking forward to this trip more than any other trip we have made. ;)

We just purchased at VWL last week (waiting for the deed to make it really official!) and made ressies for a one bedroom there for Nov 6 -13. It feels like November is soooo far away! I wish we booked sooner. We are so excited about everything. I called to put a deposit down and two hours later I had my ressie booked. Life is wonderful. Have fun!

Will be May 13-16 at VWL. We weren't suppose to have our first visit as members until October, as we had already made cash ressies to stay at AKL May 10-16, just my DH and I. Then my son decided he and one of his friends wanted to go with us, they're 20 & 21, and I didn't have the heart to say no. He's like that man in the Disney commercial whose mom has to tell him he can't leave his wife and kids to go to Disney with them! So I changed our reservation to the first three nights at AKL and the last three at VWL, two studios, on points to save cash. Isn't DVC wonderful!! So we're taking our second trip as members Oct 26-Nov 4, with two of my kids and two of their friends, staying in a two-bedroom at VWL. Then we're going to the DIS convention the end of November, just DH and I, and added days onto that with our DVC, again staying at VWL. I know this is more info than you asked for, but I'm just soooo excited! :D

on the Disney Cruise Line actually. We bought in February and booked a 7-night fall special for November for our family of 4! I can't believe we are actually doing this. I will miss actually staying at our "home" this year (HHI) but I do think it will be worth it!! Anyone else use their points first time around on a cruise? :)

My first trip home with DVC will be September 15-22 at OKW and my second will be December 27-January 2, again at OKW. As soon as the 11 month window gets here, I'm planning to make ressies for May 2002. :D :D :D

We just bought a resale in Feb. at OKW also. We will be going to OKW from Sept. 17-21 in a 1 bedroom, and then we also used our points for the 7 day cruise from Sept 22-29!!! I cant wait!! This is the first time that I want the summer to go by fast!!!

As insane as this sounds we bought DVC last August and our first stay will not be until Jan. of 2002...unless, of course, we end up going sooner on a spur of the moment trip. It's been really hard waiting!

We just bought into DVC last week. We close May 3. We had already planned a cash trip to the Polynesian May 11-20 and are excited because we have always wanted to stay at a monorail resort. It will be DW and I along with our 6yo DD and 4yo DS. We are also taking my 13yo half sister with us.

Our first trip with DVC points is Dec 12-21 2001 in a 2 bedroom villa at VWL. This time DWs parents will be going with us. We would NEVER have been able to provide such nice accomodations for family to be at WDW with us during the holiday season without DVC. And I am thrilled with the knowledge that we are going to have it for the next 41 years!!!!!

But we are using points for a quick trip next month (5-18 to 5-22) and staying on points at the Poly. Always wanted to stay there and couldn't resist on this quick unplanned trip. We lucked into free vouchers for airfare when our plane was overbooked on a trip last month so we gave up our seats for roundtrip vouchers! What a deal! So this is a bonus trip for my DH and I. :)

Just got our letter of acceptance yesterday, waiting for the deed to record. Our first stay as members will be 10/12-10/19 at OKW 2BR with our kids and my parents. We're so excited to go as owners...it's a dream come true. Such anticipation and AAAHHHHHH....Just Can't Wait!!!!! :)

Our first trip home as DVC members will be July 14 to 19 at BWV (our home). We closed on a resale in late February. We also have ressies for an early January stay at BWV (some of which will likely be switched to VB at the 7 month window if possible).

My first DVC trip is in 4 days!!! Spending 6 nights at OKW in a 1 BR. I have absolutely nothing packed or organized yet, but I'm pretty excited anyway!

I became a member last May, so I've been waiting a long time for this first trip. Since I had to do SOMETHING to help the time pass, I bought some add-on points a few weeks ago!

We may hold some sort of record... for the longest time between purchase and first stay. Not a record anyone would have any interest in breaking. We bought Nov. 13, 1999 and our first trip "home" isn't until Nov. 16, 2001, two years and three days later. We'll finally be using the first of our points at the Plaza this May. Hopefully I won't have to wait that long between visits ever again!

Our first trip will be 5/19-5/27 in a 1 bedroom at BWV. We stayed there last year and loved it so much we had to buy! We always do a 1 bedroom wherever we go. We have 4 yr old and 6 yr old daughters and I love the extra space. We take only 2 big vacations each year and I want to be comfortable! I think I am more excited about this trip than the kids are. The other day, my 4 year old asked me why I talk about Disney so much!

Next year we will be bring my sister and her family so we'll get the 1 bedroom with attached studio and we're staying for 10 nights. Can't wait for that one either!

We have a week planned at Smuggler's Notch in July and I feel guilty because I am not even looking forward to it. I am so afraid that I will be disappointed because I'll compare everything to WDW. I guess it's better than staying home, though
