We are going to WDW in October and given the fact that my dd is hooked on Barney and has been since before she was 1 (she sleeps with Barney BJ AND Baby Bop) we decided to only get 4 day park hoppers to Disney and add a day at Universal. We are travelling with 5 adults and 3 children ages 2,5,6. What do we not need to miss with children these ages. The 2 and 6 yo are girls and the 5 yo is my nephew. He loves Spiderman Batman and ninjas. I am totally clueless about Universal so any advice is greaty appreciated. I even need help on any available discounts on one day tickets. Those are all the questions I can think of right now but I am sure more will come. Thanks in advance!!!

With a 2 year old, you're basically pushing a stroller all day.
Goto USF. After you enter the park, make a right and head to ET. Do baby swap so everyone can ride. Across from ET is the Animal Planet show. Keep walking and you'll pass a play ground on the way to the Barney show. Then you'll come to the place where you'll end up staying for 3 hours. The water play ground, which also has a ball factory behind it and a kiddie coaster to the side. Put the kids in bathing suits, sit on the wall in the shade, and read a book. Since you have 5 adults, maybe some of you can take turns watching the kids and going on the adult rides.
There are no discounts on 1 day tickets. There are some discounts at AAA for 2 day passes, but you gotta make sure the unused days don't expire. In your case, just buy your tickets at the window since you're only going 1 day. You'll get hooked and the next time you come back, you'll spend more days at USF/IOA.
