Does the ent rate work for universal or sea world tickets? Is it just for hotels & how much of a discount? Does the hotel only alot a certain number room to use the discount on?
Will the 2003 Entertainment Book work for October this year?
Any info on the book, would be appreciated. Thanks,;)

I have the Ent. book and was unable to get a room at Univ. with the Ent. rate. We are going
the last week of Sept which should be the slow
season rate. I tried for all 3 of the Univ.
hotels, no luck. I get the best savings with
the book on the restaurant coupons. It looks
like the 50% off rate with the book is hard to
get for the rooms. Good luck!

i just got the 2003book and it says good now thru Nov. 2003- some hotels say you can't book more than 30 days in advance. There is a coupn for $5 off sea world admission-good for up to 6 people. you can check their website for more info. www.entertainment.com

Can you reserve a Universal hotel room with the entertainment rate ( if it is available during your travel date) and THEN purchase the book? Or are you required to purchase the book and then hope that you get the rate? I am trying to decide if I should purchase one or not??

You can book the room without the card and then buy the book. You need to show the card at check in. I haven't been able to get any of the USF hotels with the card because I travel at a high season. I have used the card in other cities and the rate is always the best around(excluding priceline.)

We did use Entertainment rate of $99 at the new ?Royal pacific? at Universal for one nite in late July. Had choice of pool view room for $109 if desired. So it may just be a matter of dates. Maybe you want to try by individual 'days' and then pay regular price 'around' the days you do get. I had to call. I could get nothing on website for info on it.
They also did not make me show my card but that was probably just chance. I had it right in my purse (which means I have now lost it - which is really sad!) to use!

There is a 3 night minimum to be able to get the entertainment rate.

We stayed one night only and received the rate. It was a Sunday nite. Maybe that has an effect on availability.
