Has anyone experienced "A Private Affair" described in the latest Vacation Magic? This is when a chef prepares a meal personally for you and your guests in a grand villa. I will be at HH for my anniversary with my wife and her siblings. Is this program worth the $40 per person?

With Gordon doing the cooking, it will be a superb meal. Chef Gordon teaches the "Longview Cooking Club" along with his many other duties at Hilton Head, and he is wonderful. Just make sure to ask him to make the Dufuskee Crab Cakes.
I've never done the dinner, but after spending time talking with Gordon at the cooking club and around the property, I think you couldn't ask for a better meal.
If you're peeking in Gordon, HI.....

I'm afraid that you might not get many replies to this, since this is quite a new offering. When I was there in February it was not offered. I only learned about it with the new VM arrived yesterday. However, the bump, and the latest visitors might add some light to this.
On an different note. It looks like Spring Break is alive and well at Hilton Head Island. Have you checked out the live camera shots lately. I just did and the beach is crowded. Wish I was there!
