Last year I had a total of 1 beer at DATW (1/2 a glass in England and 1/2 a glass in Mexico) so honest, it isn't a mass of innebriated people!!

However, SSB must also admit that he did a "Mini" DATW last night with the very same ChrisC and friends... and had to call it a night after Illuminations... :) Er, um... must be gettin' older this weekend, or sumpin'... haha! They went out to Jellyrolls later while SSB was sleepin' like a puppy! :)

Can't wait for DATW in December, and trust me CC... Spongebob Squarepants has been working out and is counting on someone to carry him proudly during the country to country march... so please make sure DD is ready! :)

DATW was on Friday night last year. If it's on the same night this year (and I think that's what SSB would like) - it would be on Friday, Dec. 6th. CathyCanada doesn't think that will work - because apparently there's some fear that some people will stagger into the Illuminations dessert party that night in an intoxicated fashion! (Not me - I'm sticking with milk!) I hope the schedulers will change their collective minds - because a DATW on Friday before Illuminations would be just perfect!

Following on the heals of EROS' post on the communnty board on the mile high club, down to earth questions face Mini Meet Queen Barb. How to schedule SATW for DSI Con?

"How am I supposed to schedule all this? I mean I have nothing against more intimate mini meets but I'm not sure I need to be working them into the DIS Con unofficial even schedule." the green gloved one exclaimed in exasperation as she boarded a flight to Idaho. (The news of this tragic filght from home was exclusively broken by this reporter for the DBI in another thread.)

How will this impact the schedule that the potentialy less than patient crowd (dare I say mob? - no better not - been chastised for that once already) - crowd of DIS Con comandos is pateinetly waiting for only Barb knows.

I think for something like SATW we will patiently wait for the scheduled mini meet if we have any patience left. I think I have a few bits left that I can put up on the DIS auctions in case someone needs a refill.

Actually didn't the people who did chocolate around the world find a few countries that had not yet discovered the delectability of said confection and the weary travelers were forced to find other sugary substances that just didn't quite fit the bill. They probably then turned to DATW because most countries are founded on the diversity of their liquid refreshments. So therefore, even if you start out innocent in your assumption you are only going to "snack" your way around the world you will eventually have to stop and have something to "drink"
