I've been editing down my photos from a 6 week cross-country trip and I'm at 900 or so I'd like to print off. It's about 2 Gigs of photos, not sure if that'll make a difference on where to print.
Anyway I'd love good high quality prints but at 20 cents a pic it's almost $200 to print these out. On the other hand it was a once in a life time trip and I do want a good set of photo albums for it.
So where would you go?
BTW, right now I'm thinking of putting these prints in 3 albums, 300 photos each. I haven't been able to find any good 500 or even better a good 1000 photo album.

Walgreen's carries a slip-in pocket album that holds 500 photos, but not all stores carry them. They run about $14.00 and are pretty nice.;)

I'd definitely trust mpix for prints from a trip like that. You won't be disappointed. Or maybe look into seeing how much a photo book would cost?!?! I think blurb.com does some pretty nice books.

Also try Snapfish.com. They are $0.08 each and sometimes they have specials to get some free!!

Mpix does great work, but for that number of prints I would go with Winkflash. I have tried Snapfish, Shutterfly and a few others - and I love the quality from Winkflash - and the price is just as good, if not better, than every other place. Their 4x6's start at $.08, but they usually have specials for 6 cents, and sometimes even 5 cents. I don't get to order as often as I should (for my peace of mind), so I tend to place huge orders (my biggest order has been 4300+). That order cost something like $340, including shipping. I have been very happy with Winkflash's quality.

Thanks guys!
I finished editing my pictures last night and it turned out to be 889. Jeeze that's a lot of pics.
Anyway I went with Winkflash. They have a sale going on(code 5CENTS) that gave me 5 cents per 4X6.

Check to see if you have a Wolf Camera nearby. They also do great work.
