Planning a trip for 9/24 - 10/2, and the boyfriend is willing to do whatever, but isn't exactly enthused. Any ideas to get him excited for the trip as it gets closer - and tips to make sure he likes it once we're there?! I booked restaurants that I think he'll like as a beginning step....
PS - thank god for these boards - they're all that's keeping me from driving him crazy talking about this trip!

If he likes running there is a half marathon that weekend. I think it is the 1st. It is the Wine and Dine Half, and starts at 10pm, with a party to follow in Epcot. You get to run in three parks.

I'm not a dude but when my girlfriend-at-the-time suggested going to Disney for a weekend I wasn't very excited. We went during Food and Wine festival though and it was a blast! Food and Wine definitely helped but once I got there I was hooked. Epcot is a good park for adults that aren't sure about Disney at first. Epcot has a lot of rides that he might like: Test Track, Soarin', Mission Space.
And yeah, the races at Disney are awesome. I've done a few myself and training for the Marathon in Jan.

Perhaps think about booking a tour. I know my DH loved the Segway tour in EPCOT, and it's a great way to see all the countries when they're not surrounded in tourists. Also, as others have said, you'll be there for a few opening days of the F&W Festival, which is a lot of fun for adults. If your BF likes beer try to get into one of the special tasting sessions. If not, just soak up the atmosphere along with a worldwide variety of food and drink. Finally, waterparks. Guys, in my experience anyway, like to see their girls in bikinis and splash them with cold water.

Pity there's a problem. Really, a nice girl like you deserves so much more.
Leave him, and run away with me! You will have ever so much more fun.

Kidding, kidding. Once he's there you will have to drag him out.
