Hey fellow Phoencian,

The dinner is great!! we go everytime we are in so. cal. It is a TON of food too, we usually try to get there for the lunch seating, not nearly as crowded and cheaper. We go about 3:00 or 3:30. As far as a good day, unsure, I bet weekends are more crowded b/c of locals. They offer parking along the street, if you can get it, otherwise, you can park in the amusement parking, and just get validated, then it's free. They do also offer a take out shop, which can also be a better deal, and then you can customize what you want, and all add'l items from grocers deli, and maybe have a picnic.

0: you will love it !

Unless they've changed it you can park in the regular parking lot for 3 hours free, without validation. There have been times when we have parked there for a short visit. And no, sorry, no ressies. Go off hours is a great idea. Weekdays better than weekends. Though KBF during the summer can be very crowded. Alot of teenagers get AP and go there during the summer.

Besides eating at the restaurant, what we like to do (which is a totally different experience) is we get our chicken to go from next door to Mrs. Knotts. Then we sit outside at one of the tables between the restaurant and entrance and it's kind of like a picnic. Very nice, especially when the weather is nice. One tip I got from one of the employees there was to ask for hot chicken from the kitchen. This way your chicken is nice and hot. (Before this tip we had to go back to get hot chicken-ours was barely warm).

At the To-Go location you can get meals with sides or you can order separate pieces. I like wings, so this works well for me! Enjoy!

If you want the free 3 hour parking, don't turn left thru the underpass to the main parking lot. Go just past the Chicken Dinner Restaurant (it's on your right) and turn left as soon as you pass the shops. There is a ticket dispensing gate. The 3 hour parking has been around for a long time and was still in effect as of two weeks ago.

Is this outside the park gates? I wondered if you could visit after the park had closed?

Yes the chicken restaurant is located outside the park. You can visit after the park closes or without even going in the park.:goodvibes

How much is the dinner? I tried to get on the website but it didn't state price or if it was cheaper for lunch.

Is it worth going up from Disneyland?

KCmike: dinners at Knott's chicken restaurant are about $15.

LuvindisCruiser: it's around a 10-15 minute drive from the Park.
