We have reserved 2 nights at the Bahai Resort in San Diego. We reserved a Bay Front Room for about 160.00 a night. Last night I was on Trip Advisor and saw some very mixed reviews. Some people say great, some people say dive. The room is quite pricey so I would appreciate any reviews you may have. We aren't looking for a five star hotel but we would like a clean, nice room where we can walk out of our room and be near the beach.

The place is a hole. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
We stayed there for one night a few years back because the Marine Corps Ball was held there. I didn't sleep at all due to the noise, uncomfy beds, and general unease I felt in such a questionably clean room.
I would NEVER stay there again, nor advise anyone I know to do so. They should tear that place down.

Thank-you for your reply. I am so nervous about that place. I read one review that says good and then one bad. For the price we are paying I would rather shop around. I know my two little ones 9 and 6 would really like a beach.

It's not near a "beach". It's on Mission Bay, which is NOT a beach. It's more like a lake. Kind of trashy, IMO.
If you want a BEACH, try a hotel on Coronado island...as that is the nicest REAL beach in San Diego.

Mission beach is not the most family oriented beach.
