...is the neat little device that they have at our health club. It's a little wall-mounted box containing a metal strainer-type basket. You put in your wet swimsuit, hold down the lid, and voila!! Within about 10 seconds it spins out the majority of the water. What a perfect addition this would be to the laundry room.

I agree. Those devices are great. But have you ever noticed how often they break? With the volume of use they'd get onboard a ship, they'd be broken <i><b>a lot!!!</b></i>

Sounds like you've become quite the gym rat prior to your three-peat, Barb!

i've never heard of it.....never seen one....
sounds interesting...
but what DCL really needs is a ship in europe/the meditarranean.....:)

Dave, you are correct!!
I told hubby we shouldn't join the health club till after we returned from our cruise, since we'd be missing a week and a half that we would have to pay for. He convinced me that it didn't cost more than a dinner or two eaten out anyway, so I went along with it. Now we have been there almost every night! I haven't tried the exercise equipment yet, tho', just lots of pool time (not much different than the ship...and we also get a free massage for joining!).

I have never seen one, but I think this gadget sounds like a salad spinner.

What a cool idea! As a new pool owner, I think one of those would work wonderfully at our house. Im already sick of all the extra laundry I have to do with this pool and I despise hand washing suits. Hmmmm, thanks for the idea Barb! :)

i'd be on your doorstep if i lived a bit closer.....

even better, i see you're going to WDW next week.....have any room in your suitcase?????

LOL! Well if you come here to go in the pool, we have one open seat in the car and the roof rack for the trip down. ;)
