A while back we got on the waiting list in case any points became available in our use year at OKW from canceled contracts. We really didn't expect anything to come of it, and figured we would buy our add-on at VWL when we go to the World in August, but really wanted to keep the points at OKW where the rest of our points are.
I called Friday to make reservations for our trip in November and asked the MS castmember to check my points and make sure that we would still have enough points left for our vacation next summer (we're always borrowing ahead). She looked and said, "I don't know what you're worried about, you've got that 100 points that was just added."
That's the first I had heard about it. They had actually just been posted that day and our guide didn't even know about it yet. I called her and she was very pleasantly surprised, too. She said that they had just been told that the wait list had been discontinued -- she couldn't believe we got them either! She said, "You must be living right." I don't know why we got them, but I sure am glad we did! It was a wonderful surprise.
I called back yesterday, just to make sure they were still there. If others here were on the list, I hope you got yours, too!
