OK y'all, wasn't that a fast work week?!? How cool was that? :dance3:
Today starts my crazy but eventful and fun weekend. This evening I'm going to the rehearsal party for my friend from the Vegas trip. I get to see all the girls again, so this should be great fun! Tomorrow evening is her wedding. Sunday is mass at DS18's school for the graduating class. Monday evening is graduation! Tuesday I took the day off to crash! So, when I leave work today, it's going to be a blur of parties and fun...with a few tears in the mix...
Continued P&PD for all my friends in need! :wizard:

That is a great idea! It is Friday after all. I will order the pizza and have DH pick it up on the way home.

DIT- is hard to miss the fun stuff. This is the little guy who would rather be home schooled because he hates just sitting still waiting on everyone else to catch up. He isn't genius, but his a pretty smart little guy. And fast. :rotfl2:

The best part is the little guy picked a place that has a no cheese pizza. Thanks to my genes and my high cholesterol, doctor says limit (meaning to him none and me a little ;) ) the cheese intake. I can still have pizza today. :thumbsup2

AWM sorry little bit feels lousy.
no cheese pizza is a favorite around here. Ask Tinker. I brought some with me to our last Gab Fest and the kids loved it!
Bubba always asks if we can have it when we drive by there. which is almost daily since its 2 doors down from where i work!!!!
Have a blast Brooke!
How Mr. PBF today?

Quick drive-by post - I feel like I've put a whole day in already...eek.
Insane morning - driving all over the place. I drove DH into work "for a few hours" - AHEM! - I think it may be good to start getting back into the routine, even if it goes up in smoke again next week.
DS's b-day party was a huge success, I think. The third time was a charm in making the pinball machine cake - (don't even ask how many toppled over pound cakes I have scattered across my kitchen...). The real/final cake was actually assembled at the bowling alley - thanks to Shamrock and TinkerBean's able assistance. (The earlier versions didn't survive the kitchen and would not have survived the car trip.) :sad2: He loved everything and just kept saying that his party was "fantastic!" :lovestruc
Forgot to give the kids their party goody bags, :headache: so have been delivering them on my errands this morning - TB, I'll drop yours over later.
Back to the craziness now, DS's doc appt later this aftenoon, and need to spend some time today or tonight getting ready for the premiere crop in calanniebu's new space tomorrow. I'm going - noon to midnight!
Christy - can't wait to see pix of the catapult - way cool!
Linda - thinking about you - are you on the payroll at Lowe's yet? :lmao: Good luck with the possible buyer. Tell us about this new food item...I'm curious!
Brooke - have a great and safe trip!
Go, Blythe! - gotta love a girl with a healthy appetite!!!
AWM - hugs to pizza boy - getting sick when school is FINALLY fun totally stinks!
Hope everyone has a great weekend - fun and enjoyable for all!

Hey everyone-
Been MIA for a few days, still getting over my post-Disney funk. DH is not helping-he keeps saying things like "This time last week you were at Epcot drinking a Grand Marnier slushie," etc, etc, etc. :sad2:
Glad to see baby Blythe is doing better, and Mr. PBF. AWM-hope your DS feels better soon! PD to everyone else who needs it!
We have been busy this week with baseball camp & DS13's games.
Today I have:
Make lunch
Work on swaps
Dinner? Maybe something on the grill if no rain
Friends over to swim
Get kids to bed semi-early
This weekend will be crazy-camp in the morning then straight to DS13's game, inlaws are coming for a visit, out to dinner with them. Then Sunday is DS13's 14th birthday. May try to throw a last-minute paintball party-depends on if we play a game Sunday or not.
Hope everybody has a great day! :)

Ok, seriously... why are we changing my freshman's schedule for the 2nd time this week... Please set my son's schedule and leave it alone... The kids are already trying to see who is with who in what class on FB... please stop making them burn the midnight oil updating one another.... ok, I've stated my case...

Well, I'm officially a camp mom. I got the boys signed up for camp today $510 later!!! OY!
And..... I found out we can use the pool for swim lessons, but lessons are in the morning, same as camp. BUT! She said they would most likely let me pay for private lessons in the afternoon. So, I could get myself and all 4 kids lessons!!!!
I have to go back over tomorrow and find out.

WOW! at our HS they don't find out their schedules until a week before school starts. I know one year they had the schedule on-line for about 4 hours and half the school knew because of texting and facebook. I think the school got lots of calls about switching teachers, my kids doesn't have any friends in math class, blah, blah, blah. I think they take it off-line ASAP now or know how NOT to have it posted. I like the not knowing until the week before because there is no sense in knowing if schedules get changed here and there.

My DS's high school doesn't give out the schedules early at all. They don't get their schedule until they get to homeroom on the first day of school! I think finding out the week before classes start is a good idea so that you can get your schedule changed before school starts rather than missing the first few days of a class while sitting in a class you aren't going to take while you wait for an appointment with your guidance counselor.

This is the first year ever our kids have gotten them this early.... I look for things to change by the time we are due to go in and pay book rental..... but at least the kids seem a bit excited about going into the high school knowing a bit more info....yes, they are all comparing schedules... they only request I had was that DsS15 & DS14 were not in the same geometry class....and they made that request happen!!! Last thing I need was the two of them in the same class...

Been MIA for a lot of days! DH went back to work Monday after 7 months of unemployment. :cool1::cool1::cool1: Very, very good thing.
Worked a vendor table today outside in the heat and humidity. Went to DS15's baseball game tonight, in the heat and humidity. Going back tomorrow and Sunday to the vendor table thing, in a little bit less heat, so that should be good.
Needless to say, my home needs some attention and we need some serious grocery shopping. Maybe in my downtime tomorrow I'll make my to do list for Monday... :rolleyes1
We're kind of hanging on by a thin thread, but I do see light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe. :goodvibes

Pixieflip--yay for DH going back to work!! Hope the light at the end of the tunnel gets brighter!!
We don't do our schedules til the first day of school either. Then we do changes (if possible) the first couple of days. It's a bit harried, but it helps get everything done before school starts (paperwork, etc) and then deal with requests. Plus, we're usually able to see who withdraws, and opens up spots in classes.
So, I'm up EARLY (or late) for me! I couldn't sleep, and so I just got out of bed. I'm supposed to wake DH up in 30 min so we can get ready to hit the road!!
Have an awesome week, everyone! I'll try to check in from there! Love, pixie dust, and prayers to all of you!!!

PixieFlip, I'm so glad your DH found a job. When my DH's company went belly up we were about 10 months [I think, I need to go check, it's been so long now] without a job. So I understand the stress and relief you are feeling.
I don't know how they do it here for high school. Growing up in NY, we found the first day of school in our homerooms. Which we found by looking at a sheet at the doors the first day. :sad2: What were they thinking?
