Well, we are 9 days away, so I figured I would start a trip report. We are headed to DL! We were there in February 2009, however, the trip ended up being my mom, DD (3.5 at the time) and myself. My husband ended up having to stay home in hopes of hearing about a job. I have been wanting to get back so bad since. We made a deposit in September for a DCL Alaska Cruise for July 2011. Things started changing, and we aren't too sure what our life will be like next summer. SOOO, we canceled that and booked this!
We are:
DH - 35 and hasn't been to DL in over 10 years. Knows nothing about DCA and I know he will love the more adult rides there!! He is very much a go with the flow person and my planning and nagging to make decisions are driving him crazy!!! :rotfl:
DD - One month shy of 5 and a busy body! This will be her second trip to DL! Last time she rarely rode in the stroller and was go-go the entire time. Had a melt down the day after we got home, in the mall, but was a perfect Princess while at DL!! And, drum roll, she has grown and can do BTMRR and Splash. She can do Space, but not sure if she will try! She loved watching me do BTMRR last time and can't wait! She might be tall enough for Grizzly, we'll see, I hope she is!
Me - 32 and in love with DL!! We went a lot as kids and want to go alot with my kids! Now, to convince DH!! I love them all! February 2009 was my first time in DCA, so a lot I didn't get to do, and looking forward to doing more this time around!

We will be flying! We considered driving, but decided to save our sanity and fly! We had miles and an Alaska Air $50 companion pass, so got pretty good deals on airfare.
We leave Seattle on Saturday June 12 at 12:30 and return landing in Seattle on June 17 at 10pm ish!
We booked the Disneyland Resort Express so we would not need to lug a seat for DD with us.
We have decided to pack only carry ons, wish us luck! We land between the two Express buses and don't want to miss the 4pm while waiting for our luggage, so here goes some serious packing! I plan to divide DD's clothes up among gallon ziploc bags to save space!

This was about the hardest decision to make and we bounced around a lot before settling!
We searched Expedia, Costco, Alaska Air, and Disney to find prices and cost things out. At one point we considered DLH, mainly hoping they would like a child 1 month shy of 5 into Pinochhio's Workshop, but no luck, so crossed that of our list.
Our criteria included, somewhere walking distance and with a suite so DH and I can have our own space. In February 2009 we stayed at the DoubleTree Suites and walked often.
This time we settled on Anabella Inn. We are in a Casita Suite and booked through Costco. Mainly chose Costco so we could have the free Character meal! The hotel looks nice, and Trip Advisor and Expedia have good comments.

So, I kind of have a itenerary, very rough and no rides scheduled. We are mainly scheduling one sit down type meal each day, and the other will be snacky/quick service. We are packing oatmeal in our luggage to bring with us for breakfast.

Oh, and parades and shows! I really want to have afternoon breaks and pool time, but I don't know if it will fit!! Definitely will do that on Sunday, cause WOC is a bit late for our little one!

Yeah, we were able to get the Fantasmic Dessert Package for Monday night! The 9pm show!! I was worried they would be booked! I wonder if people are preferring to pay for the WOC Dinners instead. I can't wait for this trip!
This week we will start packing and making lists!

OMG, we're going to be watching F! together!! My DD and I will be at the 9:00 show Monday too. That's really awesome that you were still able to reserve seats, plus maybe it means it won't be as crazy as I was afraid it would be. Either that or everyone is just going to sit on the ground and save their money for WOC dinners like you said. Who the heck knows. :confused3
I will keep my out for you at the dessert seating. :thumbsup2

We have WOC Dinner package reservations on Sunday at Ariel's Grotto. For WOC and Fanstasmic we decided to spend the money for good viewing vs. wasting time trying to wait and get seats, etc.

It is hard! We were just there in February 2009, so first things are those we didn't do last time.
Thanks! Hope to get the full report done next weekend after we return and before I head back to work!

2 SLEEPS!!!!
We did more packing last night and DD was bouncing off the walls!! She is getting very excited!!!
I am working long days this week in an effort to get things done and not feel anything is hanging over my head all week. I want to relax!! This is our first real family vacation. We frequently drive to Spokane to see family, but this is different. It should be a lot of fun!!
Oh, and DH is happy, we found a liquor store within walking distance! Now we can have a night cap after DD is in bed and not spend a ton!

Today was travel day! Started out with a stupid decision on DH's part, but oh well!
I had a coupon for MasterPark at the airport. It was $59.95 for 5 days, and $12 for each day after that. Pretty good deal, if you ask me! DH decided to just check on how much it was to park at the airport. He went through, got a ticket, kind of hard to turn around now, and I saw the sign, $130 for 5-7 days. YIKES!! :confused3
Oh well! FIL had put us on the guest list at the Alaska Air Board Room, so we were able to relax in there before heading to our gate. DD and I sat together and DH was the row in front of us. DD was difficult to keep occupied, but she was very well behaved! We arrived and rushed through the airport with 5 minutes until the Disneyland Express left and we would have to wait another hour. Perfect timing! Thank goodness we did all carry ons!
We stayed at the Anabella Hotel. Great hotel. Only issue is next time if we stayed there we would ask for a second floor room. The people above us were loud and probably anyone would have made the same amout of noise. I was a bit surprised when we checked in and I had an envelope with a voucher for 2 classic breakfasts for each morning!! I had recently become the hotels friend on FB, and wonder if that is why I was treated! We only used it once, we had brought our own oatmeal for breakfasts, and found that to be quicker when we were trying to get out the door.
After getting checked in DH walked down Katella to the Liquor store and got some stuff so we could have night caps each evening. It ended up being a perfect way to unwind while waiting for DD to fall asleep.
For dinner we walked down to GardenWalk and met my cousin at the California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. When we first got there we walked around a bit. There seemed to be a lot of empty stores and it was not very busy. Not sure if the place is just slow to get going or what, but I was a little surprised. CPK was great! DH and I shared a Club Pizza, loved it! DD had a kids pizza and only ate half, so DH got the other half! DH and DD walked back and my cousin took me to Target to get some items we did not pack since we carried on our luggage.
We were in bed by 9, and laid in better at 9:30 listening to the fireworks from DL! Never actually went outside to see if you could see them, but they were sure loud!
Could not wait to get to the parks the next day!
Two pictures from around the Garden Walk, I loved the second one:

Our first day!!! I wanted to get to Disneyland for the rope drop. Didn't quite make it, but pretty close. Park opened at 8am, we arrived shortly after that. We did oatmeal with dried fruit mixed in for a quick breakfast in our room.
We walked to the park, never onced used ART, and DD was so excited! Last time we visited DD wasn't tall enough for Thunder Mountain. We walked on the ride, waited all of 5 long minutes! She kind of liked it, but thought it was too fast and never did it again! We maybe should have waited on it, but she had fun! DH went again really quick by himself, since the first time he was holding on to DD for dear life! We stood where we could watch him! Next it was over to Winnie the Pooh, and to try Splash Mountain. Another new one for DD. She was okay with it, not too sure of the drop, and did not like getting wet. It was early, and a bit overcast, so should have maybe waited. But we were so excited about no lines! Our picture is funny, DH was holding on to DD and she looked terrified. DD never did that one again either.
Next we did some tamer rides, including Dumbo, It's a Small World, Pirates, Tarzan's tree house, and Jungle Cruise. We also did the Storyland boats, since we had not done that last time. DD got to sit up front. What a cute ride, and loved the stories! Oh, and of course, the Carousel!
We decided to do the Golden Horse Shoe review with Bill and the Hillbillies. Dh and I split the fish and chips and DD had a power pack. I must put in a plug for the power packs, I think they are healthier for kids than fried chicken nuggets, and that was the only other option. We watched the show for a bit before deciding to head back to the hotel. We had DD lay and rest at the hotel for 30 minutes and hit the pool. We decided to get some appetizers at the hotel because we had a late reservation for WOC dining.
After the rest and swim we headed to DCA! We saw our first character! Minnie in her pilot outfit! DD would not go by herself (she was back and fourth with this all week), so we have a nice family picture with Minnie!
DH and I both wanted to try Tower of Terror. DD was tall enough, but did not want to do it, and I think it would freak her out. We decided to try child swap, MISTAKE! The reason she did not want to do it was because it would scare her. I wish we had known she would have to ride the elevator with us. The elevator freaked her out a bit. Once up there though it worked out. After DH was done they brought him out the maintenance door back to the line where I was waiting. He went back in to the exit when they let me on. I loved it! DH was so-so (he thought a later ride on it was better).
We got FP for Screamin and both tried MailBoomer. DD enjoyed watching us each do the rides and encouraged us to take turns! She was too cute!
We wasted some time looking around and did the Catepillar ride in Bug's Land. We also caught the Pixar Parade. They changed the route since last time we were there, so I am so glad someone overhead us talking about it and mentioned they had changed it. We watched from in front of WCT, we were in the back, so DD sat on DH's shoulders, and we had a view as they came toward us from Paradise Pier, so pretty good view.
I think I will do my WOC review in a seperate entry, that will be next.

Okay, here is our WOC review.
We had originally made a 7:20 reservation at AG for Sunday June 13, they called the day after we made it and changed it to 7:40. We tried to check in early and they would not let us. We finally checked in at 7:30. We were seated probably around 8:00. Service was actually pretty quick.
We had two choices for the appetizer. I was bumbed about this, I had loved the appetizer at AG for the Princess lunch last year. DH did not want the clams, so we got the veggie and cheese. I wish we had gotten the other, oh well. I ordered a fun cocktail with an ice cube that glows! I got to bring it home! Fun toy! DH ordered the chicken breast, I got the sausage and pasta, and DD got the meatball lollipops. I loved my dish! DD did not eat a whole lot. DH ate most of his and thought it was okay. My first complaint, we had no time to enjoy the appetizer before we got our dish. Yes, great, fast service, but almost too fast. Our waiter even mentioned with the special dining it was quicker, like they were trying to push people through. I did over hear someone say they were booked. We got the desert, and it was a lot of chocolate. DD ate the white chocolate picture, as she did with the white chocolate Ariel, and she ate the berries. DH is not much of a dessert person, and I ate a lot of it! I must say, I was feeling pretty full!!! We got our bill just as the first show started. Our waiter told us to head to in front of WCT and gave us our tickets.
DH was tempted to stop and watch the first show because DD was getting tired. I REFUSED!! We asked a couple of CMs and finally got in our line, probably about 9:15 or so. Line was not very long, I was surprised. Second complaint, I was not happy they had us waiting so close to where the show was. We could hear it all, and see the lasers. I wish we had been further away.
{side note: we met a great woman that introduced DD to pin trading, we have a future plan!!}
Once the first show was over, we watched the crowd spill out. They let us in, and DD and I stood in one good spot, while DH walked around to make sure we had a good spot. We ended up just above the circle fountain area at a rail. We had a great view! No one in front of us, and figured it would be perfect for DD. Here is the view from our location:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/044.jpg
Well, that brings me to complaint three, it was way too loud. DD did not like the noise level, and DH had to hold her most of the time. We were back far enough to see it all (another hint picked up from online!), and did not get wet! The show was great (will add later my comparison to Fantasmic). DH thought it was okay, but too loud. Really, we should have done the first show probably, even with a rest, DD was tired. The Preferred Viewing area seemed pretty bare.
They exited us around by Grizzly Run, and we exited through GCH.
Overall, I would do the dining again! Especially after watching people standing line all morning Monday for a FP! It was well worth it. Also, with the second show, we did not have to wait in line to long. It was a great show, very well put together. We enjoyed it!
Here is DD in all of her tired craziness:

The only Princess we interacted with were Aurora and Snow White and they were great with Boo. Cinderella was there too but she left much earlier than the other two and didn't do meet and greet very long. So Cindy gets an F from me.

Yeah, only pictures you will find me in are PhotoPass!! DH actually took a couple of cute action shots during Dumbo of DD and I on a different day, so you will see those!
There are very few pictures of me. Honestly though there are more this trip than there have been on past trips.

The only Princess we interacted with were Aurora and Snow White and they were great with Boo. Cinderella was there too but she left much earlier than the other two and didn't do meet and greet very long. So Cindy gets an F from me.
I don't want to give it away now, but our best were Aurora and Belle. Belle gave her a hug and had a picture taken, so in a month on her fifth birthday she could look at the picture and feel Belle give her a birthday hug! It was so sweet!

That is so sweet. Belle in the past has been a very gracious Princess so I am not surprised.

Wow, great report! Congratulations on the Pilot Minnie picture! I wanted one of those but I didn't see her out...not that we tried very hard...
Your Belle sounds really great! Our best interaction was with a Belle too (December 2009)...though in fairness I'm sure sometimes it's related to how much enthusiasm you show (I've had my best interactions with Belle and Tiana who happen to be my favorites).
I'm sorry World of Color was so loud. I don't like loud noises so I always have earplugs--I didn't need them for World of Color but I think we might have been a level lower than you. (I actually only wore them for Captain EO I think, since I'd heard it was loud.)

This was Monday and we planned to sleep in after a late Sunday and hit MM later in the week. We decided to start our day in DCA.
First, I have to share these pictures. I just loved these flowers are our walk to and from the park every day!

http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/047.jpg
Also on the walk through DTD DD wanted to throw coins in the fountain. I noticed this sign:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/052.jpg
We first grabbed FP for Soarin and headed for Grizzly River. DD was unfourtunately less than an inch too small. We were kind of bummed. So, we watched DH ride:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/055.jpg
He did not get very wet, lucky him! He wasn't all that thrilled with the ride, nothing special to him. I took a turn next while DD and DH headed for TSMM. TIP: Keep your feet up! My feet got soaked! We should have headed to that first. When I got there they still had 20 minutes left to wait. We finally got on. DD rode with DH and I rode alone. DD did awesome!! Here she is showing off her 3-D glasses:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/057.jpg
My cousin that lives in LA (that met us Sat night) decided to buy an annual pass, so met us for a bit today. After TSMM DD wanted to try the Jumpin Jellyfish. My cousin was nice enough to take her on that while DH and I jumped in the single rider line for Mulholland Madness. Wow, what a jerky ride! We got done about when DD and my cousin finished and DD wanted to go again! So, we all did Jumpin Jellyfish together!
We headed over to use our Soarin FPs and my cousin went single rider. We hoped she would end up with us, but she ended up in the other theater, so we all met at the end. After getting out we got our pictures taken with the Cars!
We had a 2:00 reservation at Carnation Cafe so we headed there. My cousin walked with us and we shopped a bit on Main Street. This was the hottest day of the week and we were all a bit hot and tired. At Carnation Cafe there was a good size line, thank goodness for reservations! We did not wait long to get seated. DH and I split the veggie and cheese sandwich and DD got the peanut butter sandwich platter. What a great kids meal idea! DD loved it! We all liked the food and were impressed the chef came out and asked us how we liked our meal.
After lunch we headed to the hotel for a rest. We made DD lay down and told her to rest 30 minutes. She kept asking how much longer, and suddenly it was quiet. She got about an hour nap in! :cool1: We had Fantasmic that night, so very happy she rested!
We headed back to the park about 5ish, hoping to get dinner before getting in line for our Dessert package. On our way back DH posed with the Atlanta Braves Mickey (he is an Atlanta fan):
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/061.jpg
We did Winnie the Pooh again and headed to Hungry Bear for dinner. DH and I decided to share the turkey sandwich and DD got a power pack again. It took forever, DH said they kept handing out turkey sandwiches and finally asked if he was waiting for a burger. We finally got our food, and the turkey sandwich was pretty good!
It was about 6:45pm and we headed over to find the Dessert package podium. I was shocked, NO LINE! From what I had read on here I was thinking there would be someone there. We talked with the gentleman and decided to wait. He recommended our seats to us, 5, 6, and 7. It was funny, when the woman started to check in she started to put us in 1, 2, and 3. And we asked her to move us based on his recommendation. 5, 6, and 7 are middle, front! Perfect seats!! DH went to do Indiana Jones while DD and I hung out in line. The nap helped her attitude and made her very talkative and perky! She was talking about everything to everyone! After getting our seats we went to change DD into long pants and I put on a long sleeve shirt. We got to our seats and were waited on immediately. AWESOME service!! I would spend the money for this again in a heart beat!
I knew DIS member KoalaGirl5 was going to be here and I was kind of watching in line and thought I recognized her from her picture. Well, we ended up sitting next to them. I am somewhat of a shy person sometimes, but decided to ask her if she was Koalagirl! It was fun to meet someone from these boards!
We enjoyed Fantasmic! DH felt it was better than WOC. I would have to agree with him. DD loved it! Oh, we had bought her ear plugs earlier in the day, so the noise did not bother her like WOC had. Afterwards they announced the fireworks were delayed. We hung in our seats for about 10 minutes and they started. I couldn't see Dumbo or Tink. It was slightly windy, so not sure if they decided not to fly them due to that, or after we got to the hotel we heard about the earthquake that was centered in San Diego about 9:26pm, and wondered if that was what caused the delay and no Tink or Dumbo.
Got back to the hotel earlier than the night before! We were all exhausted! And DH was starting to loose his voice!

Our original intent was to get up for TTMM this day. After two late nights we were all a bit tired. I set the alarm, and when it went off we decided to skip that for the day and just aim for park opening.
DL opened at 8 and we arrived shortly after that. We first did Buzz Light Year and Dh grabbed a FP for Autopia. DD and I did the Rockets in Tomorrowland and DH went to do the Matterhorn. We had a 10:30 reservation at Goofy's Kitchen, and I dediced to test my luck and get in a 30 minute line at Pixie Hollow at about 9:15. I felt I had time. DH found us in line after the Matterhorn. He hadn't been to DL for several years and felt the ride was not as good as it had been. DD and I never made it on there this trip.
I love the little decorations around Pixie Hollow! Here are some pictures from Pixie Hollow:

http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/086.jpg
As you can see, we saw SilverMist and Tink and Terrance. Last visit we saw Rosetta, so it was fun to see someone new. Silvermist was sweet, asked DD if she was a Tinker Fairy (she had on a Tinkerbell shirt!). DD was pretty excited to see Tink and Terrance. They pointed out there was three 'T' names, and DD kept repeating that all week! Tink said "I like your shirt" and DD ran up and yelled "You are on it"!! It was really cute! They were both great! One of our best character interactions. I will post a comparison later, but I think we saw Terrance later as the Mad Hatter!
After that we jumped on the Monorail with time to spare and headed over to Goofy's Kitchen. Here are some pictures first, than I will do a review.

DD got involved in the group baking session with Goofy!!!

http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/099.jpg
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/101.jpg
So, when we booked our Costco package we got a free character meal. We decided to try Goofy's Kitchen, since we had done AG last visit. We originally had dinner booked, but changed it after we booked WOC dining. We arrived and did our photo wit Pluto. I don't get why Pluto, why not Goofy? Oh well! We got seated and got some food for DD. She inhaled the french toast and Mickey Waffle. I got an omlett made, yummy!! DH had trouble finding something good. He kept getting things he thought was cold. We all got some frozen yogurt!
The character interaction was okay. Jasmine was there when we were waiting to get seated, but left before we saw her. Kind of bummed about that. We got to see Donald though, and he is one we did not see on our last visit! He gave DD a kiss! We were done with our meal and asked our waitress when he would be around to us. I think she said something, he came up to see us immediately. On our last visit we had done Minnie and Friends. I would say that was much better than our Goofy Kitchen Brunch. Minnie and Friends had a lot more characters there. We probably should have just done AG again, but luckily we ended up getting most of the Princesses in.
After Brunch we jumped back on the Monorail and used our Autopia Fast Pass. Okay, moment of panic. I went to take a picture of DH and DD in the car, and my camera suddenly said I had no Memory Card. Umm, NO! I had bought a larger memory card before we left so I would not need to take the laptop to dump pictures. So, we did Autopia, DH got off with whiplash! DD was laughing the entire time, and lauged harder the crazier she drove! We got on the train to go to the Haunted Mansion. I took the memory card out and put it back in and luckily all was okay! Thank goodness! Can you imagine!
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/110.jpg
We did the Haunted Mansion. What a difference 18 months makes in DD enjoying some rides. She was much better this time. I think it was also knowing what was coming, and she felt like she was introducing it to DH for the first time, she felt cool!
After that, it was Pooh, AGAIN!! And DH and I wanted to try Splash Mountain. There was a 110 Minute Wait, YIKES!! And, no more FPs! So, we hit the Single Rider line! I waited about 20 minutes, he only waited about 10. We loved the Single Rider line!
While DH took his turn, we saw Pooh and Tigger!
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/112.jpg
Our Tigger picture is in photo pass. A surprise character was Braer Bear:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/114.jpg
He was standing under the train track by Splash Mountain. We decided to head to Small World and some ToonTown, but got caught in the parade crowd. We were going to try to watch it, but too much craziness. We headed to Small World.

http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/118.jpg
I have to share this. This is the shirt Dh wore today:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/119.jpg
He got many comments, and even Donald had some hand gestures and expressions at brunch!
We went into ToonTown (first checking the line at Princess Fantasy Faire and decidiing to wait). We grabbed a FP for Roger Rabbit and headed to the Go Go Coaster. It broke down while we were in line. We walked through Mickey's House and saw the Scorcerer Mickey. At this point my cousin was with me. She used to be a character at DL, so her insight was interesting. She was telling me about the other rooms in Mickey's House, I wish we could have gotten one of the others.

We had fun exploring ToonTown a bit too and rode Roger Rabbit.
After two long nights we decided to call it good for the day and find dinner. We had planned on ESPN Zone, but forgot it was the Lakers playoff night, and ESPN Zone was packed. We ate at Tortilla Joe's. Great place!! DH did a flight of Tequila tasting and DD got a balloon flower:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/137.jpg
We saw some music after that and DD was having fun dancing:

And, we headed to the hotel. It was nice to get in at a decent hour and get DD a shower and to bed.

It all looks so fun. Did you enjoy Goofy's? Last time we went the food was just mediocre. I don't think we would do it again unless we did the package with Costco. The food didn't meet the price as far as I was concerned. I just love Pixie Hollow. The theming is so cute. We did Pixie Hollow and Boo would have nothing to do with Terrance. It was hilarious.

If we do Costco again we will do Ariel's Grotto. Goofy's food was just mediocre and not that many characters. Next time I would like to try the other two meals.
DD was not so sure about Terrance either, DH and I thought it was tacky he was there.

Wednesday started much like Tuesday! We had planned to do our Early Morning and do Toontown Madness, but instead opted to sleep in. Oh well! That is two trips we have missed ToonTown Madness, I guess not meant to be!
We headed to the park for the 8am opening. What a relief compared to the other two days. Not as crowded at all. We started with a visit with Alice and the Mad Hatter:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/145.jpg
So, what do you think? Doesn't the Mad Hatter look an awful lot like Terrance from the day before? I sure thought so!
We next headed for FantasyLand. We walked on Mr. Toad, Snow White, and Pinocchio. Peter Pan was too long (never did ride it this trip). I think people did not realize they had changed the Early Morning due to the Grad Night, because Fantasyland was slow! We headed for Dumbo too!
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/149.jpg

Once Toontown Madness was over we headed in there to do Go-Go, since it had been closed the day before. We waited in a fairly short line for that. Earlier DH and I had picked up FPs for BTMRR. Here are some pictures of DD while she and I waited for DH:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/164.jpg

http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/168.jpg
Next we went to Adventureland, hoping I would get an Indiana FP or single rider, nope, broke again! So, we did the Jungle Cruise and got lucky to find Jasmine and Aladdin waiting for us!
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/172.jpg
Next DD and I shared a Dole Whip Float and we went to the Tiki show! I loved it! That is seriously been one of my favorite things to do at Disneyland, since I was a kid. Loved it! My first Dole Whip Float, and also loved it!!
Thanks to DIS, I got a Restaurant.com $25 gift certificate for House of Blues for $3 before we left! We had lunch there today. We opted to sit outside, they moved an umbrella for us!
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/185.jpg
What a great place! I had the Shrimp Po-Boy, and loved it! This is the one place DH and I did not split a meal. DH had their club and liked it. I don't remember what DD had. I ordered one of their special drinks in a large souvenir glass to take home. Since drinks were not included when deducting, we still paid $50 out of pocket, but a great meal and worth it! That is a place I would eat again!
We planned for an afternoon at DCA to close down the park (closing at 6pm due to Grad Night). We headed to Bug's Land first.

http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/198.jpg
And saw Chip and Dale:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/194.jpg
I love Bug's Land! I think it is a great place for kids! We did all the rides, except the Catepillar, since we had already done it.
The line for Tower of Terrow was short, so DH and I took turns. We were wasting time for Aladdin.
DD and I found Sleeping Beauty:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/203.jpg
It was so sweet, DD had the Princess autograph book, so she was talking to DD about 'her princess friends' on the cover. She really took a lot of time with DD.
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/205.jpg
Funny, in line in front of us was two teenage boy, by themselves, no sisters or anything. Each took their turn for a picture. I have never seen that before, but she was pretty!
We also saw Sully from Monsters Inc.
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/208.jpg
After I got off of Tower of Terror we went to the Monster's Inc ride. Great ride! We had fun.
We had preferred seating tickets for Aladdin and we got in line probably about 3pm. After getting in DH went to the restroom, then I took DD. They give you a pass to get back in line. I kept telling DH, we need the front row of the second section on the floor. And sure enough, dead center, first row of the second section. Thank you again DIS!!! Perfect seats!! I had heard it was the best place to see them fly, but forgot reading about the parade! DD was amazed!! What a great show. The Genie was hilarious!!! We laughed. DD even laughed, when she didn't really get what she was laughing at! The Genie really threw in humor for the adults!! I loved it!
When we got out the park was getting ready to close and DH wanted a Chili Dog! So, we ate at the Hot Dog place in Hollywood Backlots, don't remember the name. I had the Italian hot dog. I was stuffed this day!
DCA closed at 6 pm, so we left and along with the crowd headed to DL. We decided to catch the parade and call it good. We found alittle blue house with porch and two chairs on Main Street. Not sure what it is by, but great parade location! We had a great view! We were across from the Penny Arcade.

What a wonderful trip report. I love the picture of DD with the flowers. It was a wise choice by her. I think that a lot of the characters change between the characters and if you look closely in the parade sometimes a princess will have an adams apple.

I love all the flower pics, too. It always helps me to remember what the Park looked like on each trip.
My fav pic is you and DD flying on Dumbo with the best smiles!
Did you need reservations for HoB certificate? We have one too.
Thanks for the wonderful report and great pics; you really have seen a lot of charachters!
We had made a reservation for Noon, but didn't really need. I don't even think DH told them we had a reservation. It definitely started picking up, but was never full while we were there.
We ended up filling DD's entire autograph book! Only bummer, we kept missing Pinocchio.

We also have a certificate for HoB and plan on eating lunch there. Glad to read that you enjoyed it.

Yeah, she did not like him! And he can't sign the book, so that was a bummer.

So, I am back for our last installment. Life has gotten in the way, sorry for taking so long to finish this.
Our last day we got packed and headed to Disneyland. They didn't open until 9am due to the Grad Night the night before. I had picked up a great idea on here and we knew Princess Fantasy Faire opened at 9, so we headed there. DH headed to get an Autopia FP. When we got to Princess Fantasy Faire we had to wait just a couple of minutes before it was our turn.
We got in there and first up was Belle. All DD could focus on was Princess Tiana! And she was last, so I felt bad for Belle and Ariel!
Belle was awesome!! DD actually has a Belle dress she wore last time we were at DLR that she wore to the Princess lunch. I think Belle is one of her favorite Princesses. She spent a lot of time with DD and had them take a picture of them hugging so on her fifth birthday she could look at it and remember Belle hugging her. My best Belle picture is actually in photopass (ordered the CD today, so will post those when I get them).

We next did some rides to waste time before the Coronation ceremony started. We walked on It's A Small World, no line. We did the carousel and tea cups. DD would always pretent like she was directing the music on IAMW!!

The Coronation Ceremony was cute! First they taught the kids how to dance and be princes and princesses.
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/263.jpg
Then Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty came out.

http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/283.jpg
Now, we almost left, until we overhead someone ask if they were coming back out. They come back out for pictures and autographs. DD and I got in line for Snow White and DH stood in line for Cinderella. After we were done we ran over to Cinderella. Not sure if that was appropriate or not.

So, I think we ended up seeing every Princess possible?? Wow!!
We headed over to Autopia and decided to let DD get her face painted.

This picture is the main reason we had to do Autopia again. If you will remember, last time, I had memory card issues. So, I had to have this picture!!
We did Pirates one last time and I went single rider on Indiana Jones.
We decided to head to DCA and find lunch. Here is my parting picture of DL
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/311.jpg
And on the way out we saw the Queen of Hearts and the Rabbit.
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/315.jpg
We asked about when Pinocchio would be out and he was due in about 20 minutes, but we were hungry. So, never did see Pinocchio.
We got FP for Screamin and found lunch at Moo Moo (?). They have great pizza! And we so needed a cold beer by this point!
DH headed to use his FP, DD and I did Jumpin Jellyfish and she was dying to do the swings. So, we headed to the swings. Then I used my Screamin FP. DH and I each took turns doing Grizzly one last time, and I ended up soaked, I think I was finally dry after getting off the plane at home!
We got an ice cream cone, as you can see DD, enjoyed it!!

And here we are waiting for the DL Express:
http://i829.photobucket.com/albums/zz219/mrsmoore77/Disneyland%202010/329.jpg
The DL Express worked great on the way there, the way back had me a little stressed. They took us to the DLH to catch another bus, but stopped a ton, and did not go on the route inthe brochure at all. But, we ended up there in plenty of time and had time to get dinner.
It was a great trip! I think we will probably wait until 2012 to head down again, next year DH and I are headed to Mexico for our own trip!

I'm so impressed with all the princesses you saw without doing Ariel's Grotto! I greatly enjoyed reading your trip report--and your daughter clearly had a wonderful time!

Oooooh, seeing all your pictures is getting me excited to go back to DLR!
Did anyone else notice that all the princesses, Aladdin, and face characters in general have PERFECT movie star teeth? I wonder if Disney pays for their dental work because movie star teeth cost the equivalent of a small car :)

I got my CD in the mail the other day, so figured I would share some additional pictures. The one with Belle is one of my favorites!

I really enjoyed reading your TR, and got some great tips from you! DH and I are taking our 7yo DD down (we're in WA too) next week, so your experiences were very relevant for us! Good to know what time Princess Fantasy Faire opens and such... I also appreciate the info about HOB - just printed out my certificate:cool1:
