We are leaving for WDW in 3 days. This will be a difficult trip for my family. My dad died on May 31 and we were all going to WDW to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary and my nephews birthday. We know my dad would still want us to go. I booked my nephews for the Pirates Cruise for their birthday presents this year and I put a little gift bag together for both of them. My mom's very good at writing poems so I asked her to write one to give to them for the Pirates Cruise and this is what she came up with:
On August 16, we値l be leaving again,
for Walt Disney World, Epcot, Universal, and MGM.
In two short weeks we will probably see,
All the sights there can possibly be.
We値l go to Miami and the Florida Keys,
We値l play on the beach, & maybe sail the seas.
We値l see Susan, and Jerry, and Aunt Polly too,
We値l see their new house and swim in their pool.
We値l go to the parks and we値l sweat from the heat,
We値l ride on the rides, and buy things to eat.
There will be ice-cream and candy and fun to be had,
And Britt will be walking, not carried by Dad.
We値l try to find time to hit Blizzard Beach,
and slide on the slides going down with a screech.
If that痴 not enough we値l try Typhoon Lagoon,
Play in the sand and water until way past noon.
There痴 one special thing for Brandon and Britt,
It値l be August 19th, for that real special trip.
They値l depart on a ship and sail in the sun,
There値l be pirate痴 gold, snakes, and all kinds of fun.
Just read your map, and follow the clues,
Have all kinds of fun, on this real special cruise.
Keep your eyes open, whatever痴 your pleasure,
Do your best to find the hidden treasure.
Aunt Loni arranged this for two special boys,
She knew they壇 have fun, and make all kinds of noise.
They値l shriek and hollar, and jump with glee,
When they set sail on this ship and head out to sea.
It痴 a fun planned trip, as you well know,
So put on your bandanna and be ready to go.
You値l hunt for the treasure, with nothing to lose,
Brandon and Britt are going on a Pirate痴 Cruise.
