Waiting List - Dec 27,2002 - Jan 3, 2003

I'm trying to book 12/27 thru 1/3/03 at ANY of the DVCs (only
need studio). I'm on wait list for all. Any ideas or experience
with this time of the year (after Christmas thru New Years)?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Last year I was on a wait list and got all but New Years eve- booked 10 months out. This year I had to use points from a different resort and reserve at 7 month window, was not able to get 2BR at BCV for 12/31. If my wait list comes through, it will free up 2 studios- one at BCV one at BWV- good luck to us both!!
* if you haven't already done so- wait list day by day not as a whole- WL for 1BR as well -they have more of those

If you really want to be there for this time, book a back-up. You may get some or all of your days. However, NYE will be the most difficult. One year I waitlisted from about April until the actual day and NYE never came through. I had invited my brother's family and they bounced from BWV to OKW to CSR to OKW. I think they actually enjoyed trying out all the different resorts.
