Has anyone bought the new Alice and Wonderland DVD ?
I found it at our food store for $17 on sale.

:rotfl:We never saw the movie in the theatres.

I thought it may make a nice gift to our DD for her birthday.:goodvibes

If your DD is older than 9 or so, it would probably make a good gift. It's a little dark, and not really the Alice in Wonderland you might think it is. Meaning, it's not a remake of the animated version. It's almost kind of a sequel. I really enjoyed it though :)

Happy birthday to your DD!!

I enjoyed it. It was a little dark for DD. My DD is 15. She is also special needs. So it is more like 11 or 12. She did not like it the first time around. She saw it a second time and liked it a little better because she understood it more. It has been very popular with the 8th and 9th graders here. Hope this helps.

I agree with the other posters. I saw it in the theaters and I wouldn't let my daughter watch it until she was about 10. But it was sooooo good!!!

Never watched it. My daughters are 6 and 9 and their aunt took them to see it. We didn't expect that and probably wouldn't have wanted them to see it, but... Both daughters LOVED it. They insisted on getting it on DVD for our trip to Florida, which I did today for $16.88. They've already seen it now, so....

Our DD will be 15 this June. Just finished 9th grade.
She was Alice (traditional, original character) last year for Halloween,
She also loves the Cheschire cat.

Thanks for the poistive responses. :goodvibes

At 15 your daughter will probably love it.
Not sure what the expiration date is but there was(is) a coupon for $10 off the dvd/blu ray/digital download combo pack. You can check it out at www.alicecoupon.com. You will have to sign in or sign up (if you're not already a member) at Disney Movie Rewards website. Well worth it. I got the combo pack for $16.99 the day it was released.
