Has anyone parked at the port? Do we need to reserve a spot?

Nope no reservations needed.Theres plenty of parking for every one on both ships.

Any word on when the parking garage will be open? Last I heard was October 1st...

Somewhere in the process of doing all the paperwork for the cruise they will ask you if you are parking at the port. I don't think it's an actual "reservation".
I always prefer to park at the port instead of taking a shuttle because once you get off the ship, you load up your stuff and drive right past all the people waiting for the shuttles. Just my opinion.:goodvibes

No reservations needed, but you do need to pay (You probably already know that). And I think the Parking Garage is planned to be ready for the Disney Dream in January, as they will need to be more space for cars. :)

FYI I was in an all fire hurry to check in and get to the upgrade desk so dh dropped me off at the luggage drop off and I took what I needed to get us checked in plus 2 kids FORGETTING that dh was stuck with a TON of stuff himself. It took him FOREVER to get inside the port :lovestruc don't forget to have a plan!!
