An AMBER alert, apparently adding to the success of the recent happy ending to the kidnapping of two teens, was issued in CA. My prayers are with her for her safety and her family with their anguish.

I too pray for the safe return of this young girl. We just had another attempted aduction, this one was not too far from where we live. I used to let my oldest one outside by himself to play, and I pulled back and said no more. I started to wonder if indeed he is old enough, maybe I should, but you hear another story and it is SO FRIGHTENING!!!!

Her family is in my prayers.

Is this happening more frequently or are we hearing about it more
because of the recent high profile cases?

I've been wondering the same thing. It just seems like it is happening more and more frequently it is just too sad.

I think it's a good thing they're getting more attention than they used to, though.

<font color=navy>I saw this on the news yesterday evening. The mother was so broken up, she was sobbing to please return her baby, and the father was saying to please leave her somewhere where they could find her - he just wanted her back. It was so heartbreaking. :(

I cannot even begin to understand the horror these parents must be going through and my heart really goes out to them. I'm praying this little girl is found safe although I worry it's already too late.

So sad, lets hope they find her soon.

Here in the UK our news has been dominated by the story of two 10 year old girls (Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman) who disappeared on Sunday 4th August. They are treating this case as abduction. There parents have made countless appeals on the news. It is so so sad :(
