Early Closing!!

Hi all -

Called MS today to see if I could book something(at BWV, not our home resort) for the fall, I knew as I haven't closed yet that I couldn't borrow any points ...well, imagine my surprise when the MS employee told me I had closed today! We were told that our closing would be 4/26!
Wow! Why did this happen? Not that I mind, actually I'm wondering if it affects my dues amt (supposed to be prorated) or when my first monthly payment is due...
I suppose I could just call Quality Assurance tomorrow but I thought any experts here may know.

Looks like we're offical - closed and booked BWV for September, 5 nts 1bdrm!!

Early closing shouldn't affect your dues. When we bought (December, 1999), the dues were prorated based on the day we signed the papers (not the day we closed). :cool:

When I bought in September 1999, my dues were pro-rated from the date I made the deposit (I bought over the phone). My closing was a week or two early too.

Unless you bought a huge amount of points the difference in your dues for closing a few weeks earlier is minor.
