We will be at the VWL April 21 through April 25 and want to take our 6 yr old out on the pontoon boat fishing with a guide, If there is anyone who will be there at this time and would be interested in sharing the cruise, let me know. My husband is a bass tournament fisherman and this is the one condition he put on our trip- that he gets to go fishing. It prob. won't be what he expects but a great father-son bonding trip! We will have 3 empty spots and price per person goes down considerably if we can take 5. Reply with your e-mail and I will contact you. I think the days we were considering were April 23 or 24. Thanks!

Bearville, don't be so sure, WDW has some great bass fishing. There are alot of fish 5 lbs and over. My father and I went on a trip in August, it was fantastic, just us and he guide on the boat I am 34 and will never forget it. Tell your husband to email me if he wants any other info first hand.

Have a great trip.

Our family went on the fishing trip in 1994. This was our son's special request. He was 13 at the time. Unfortunately for him, his 8 year old sister was the only one who caught fish.

Are the boats open such that you could take and use a fly rod?

I have sent my boys on kids fishing trips out of BWV and they have a ball. Guides are real nice and they take the kids to places where the fish get fed regularly so they always catch something.
